DWTS14 Jack Wagner And Anna Trebunskaya Interviewed At The Grove (Video)
Mario Lopez of Extra interviewed Anna and Jack! Jack starts out saying what a great partner he has and how the time was right to finally do Dancing With The Stars. One of his greatest passions has always been dancing. Anna says their practices are going really well. The Fox Trot is their first dance. Jack comments how it’s testing his body and his frame. He says learning to dance has been challenging and he’s had some good days. He’s taken some steps forward and then has taken some steps backwards, but, it’s the greatest feeling when it all “clicks”. Anna recalls their first meeting and how Jack gave her white roses (awww, my favorite flower). Lots more below. Fun fun interview and one of the best yet!
Anna looks awesome and Jack is kinda funny! He seems to understand the chain of command so he should be ok! LOL
I just noticed in most interviews Anna’s hair is curly but here its straight. Has me wondering if her hair is naturally curly or if it is curled for the show?
Good question Teresa. I just love Anna’s red hair! It’s one of her best features! I’m loving Melissa’s long red hair too.

As for her gorgeous mane, I’d say she has a natural wave that can either be enhanced or straightened. A look back at some rehearsal vid from Season 10 with Evan might be in order
You can really tell Jack is gonna give this his all. I am also struck by how Anna has evolved as a trainer/teacher through the seasons.
I’m loving this couple and am really looking forward to their performances this season. They are both gorgeous and fun and I know they will give it their very best. Can’t wait!

In a TV interview Vogue posted weeks before the celeb reveals the host asked Anna who would be her ideal partner (fishing for a name). Anna answered generically that she always liked working with athletes because of their work ethic, fitness, etc, but also liked working with performers because of their showmanship ability , or words to that effect. She concluded that her ideal partner would maybe be a former athlete who was now a performer.
Sounds a lot like Jack, a pretty fair golfer – has won that Tahoe Celebrity thingy a couple times – and long time performer. I hope these 2 do well.
Faby, speaking of athletes…. Anna gets a lot of them now. Sugar Ray, Chuck, Evan, Kurt and now Jack even though Jack’s full time occupation is an actor. Wonder what’s up?
@Faby, Snap! I thought the same thing. Anna now has a performer who’s also somewhat athletic. Hope it means she’ll go far in this season.
@Liz, you ask what’s up? I think “good business sense” is what’s up. The producers have seen that Anna’s personality and teaching style works well with athletes. So they give them to her when they have one that works in other ways (e.g., height).
