Dancing With The Stars Update On Tristan MacManus And Gladys Knight!!
Finally, some new official rehearsal pictures of Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus have been released. You can view a fun gallery of them at Getty Images. Notice how they are “all smiles”. They’ve been practicing in Detroit this week while she is on tour. You can see Gladys performing at The Palace in a halftime show here. Such an amazing performer and I didn’t realize she had so many dancers in her show!!!

Thanks for the plug! I love that they’re smiling in every single picture. They are clearly having fun together, and I think that bodes well for them. Gladys is so spunky too, so I’m sure Tristan has his hands full!

She has a lot of energy and the cemistry between the two is great. In a weird way the chmistry reminds me of Jane Seymour and Tony Dovalani (which is good since Jane got really far inthe competition) I think she will be a better dancer than Nancy. Plus the language/accent barrier doesn’t seem to be a problem which is great.

Vin, I don’t think there was much of a language/accent barrier between Nancy and Tristan either. Seemed to me Nancy was just using Tristan’s accent to poke fun at him (take the mickey out of him, so to speak). That was just their style. I think Gladys and Tris will have an equally fun but different kind of camaraderie.
Aw I think they’re my favorite couple.
Admit to questioning this partnership, and have yet to see them dance a step, but I’m really liking what I see from these two! “Pay your phone bills!” LOL Don’t forget those cable & internet bills too! Yep, all tree of ‘em, ‘Tris.’

I also noted the smiles in each pic – I know these are publicity pics, but still, they really seem to be having a blast. I started out super-stoked about this team, and nothing I’ve seen of them has changed that. Man, they’re so cute!!!
