Dancing With The Stars Season 14 Troupe: Who Is In and Who Is Out?
With the way they have been switching the Dancing With The Stars Troupe these last few seasons, it almost makes a fan not want to get too close or favor any of them? 
And yet, if it weren’t for the Troupe, we wouldn’t have the magnificent Tristan MacManus and the beautiful Peta Murgatroyd as teaching pros. “Change is good” though (or “beautiful” as my hair stylist likes to say. 
) and maybe that is the case this season? From a couple of tweets from Dancing With The Stars 2nd year Troupe veteran, Sharna Burgess, Daria Chesnokova from last season’s troupe is out (this is sad. I just loved her, her passion when dancing, and her long hair!). Pro dancer (and girlfriend to Sasha Farber), Emma Slater is taking her place. Sharna has also tweeted that Dancing With The Stars Troupe veteran, Oksana Dmytrenko will be returning. Second year veteran, Sasha Farber, is also returning to the Troupe. According to an Australian dancer named Henry Byalikovat, he has been chosen to be in the troupe for Season 14 as well and he is beyond excited. Below is what he posted at his facebook page;
In LA! Finally settled in.. Got my phone organised, got my place organised and unpacked. Now to shower and get ready for meetings, fittings and rehearsals! DWTS USA Season 14 is going to be amazing WOOOPPPAAAAAAAAAA!
So, as of right now and what we can gather, below is who is dancing in this season’s Dancing With The Stars Troupe:
For the Girls: Sharna Burgess, Oksana Dmytrenko, Emma Slater
For the Guys: Sasha Farber, Henry Byalikov
As you might have noticed, the third spot for the Guys is unknown. No word yet (that I can officially find so far? Maybe one of you know more?) if it will be Ted Volynets or Kiki Nyemchek who danced in the Troupe last season? However, if you’ve been following Ted at twitter, you know he’s been posting some questionable tweets eluding to the fact that he might not be dancing this season?
We hope for some official confirmation soon on everything with this subject.

Henry was on SYTYCD and DWTS in Australia. He’s pretty good. Very excited!
Henry and Emma are both “Burn the Floor” dancers, as were Sasha, Sharna, Tristan & Peta. (And also Kym, Maks, Karina, Mark and Derek, I think). That show is a wealth of talent and passionate dancers, so I, for one, am happy. I love Oksana too, so I’m glad she’ll be back. Honestly, I wouldn’t miss Ted, but I would miss Kiki, so I’m holding onto the hope that he’s the third gent.

I wish they’d bring Damian back for the troupe… but I think he’s on the Australian DWTS this time around… sigh…
I actually remember Henry from that disasterous Superstars of Dance show that Nigel Lythgoe tried out back in 2009. He was partnered with Giselle Peacock and they danced for the Austrailian team. I think they ended up placing 3rd in the couples division. He wasn’t too shabby.
Anyone else find it interesting that there might not be anymore Chmerkovskiy entourage members in the troupe? Nicole & Dasha are gone, and Ted looks like he might be out, too. Maybe they’re trying not to give the appearance of favoritism? Then again, if they were doing that, they probably wouldn’t be pulling so many Burn the Floor cast members…just food for thought.
I would have to scout for the tweet, but Nicole V. said recently that neither she nor Teddy would be in the troupe this season. If so, that would whittle down Maks’s DWM troupers to just Oksana, unless Kiki returns (at least, according to me, unless I missed something).
@NYCGirl – Are Oksana & Kiki from DWM? I know Elena’s agency represents them, but I didn’t know if they were affiliated with DWM at all.
Okay, just found Nicole’s tweet dated Feb. 29th. Someone tweeted “Gonna miss @TeddyV & @NicoleVolynets on #DWTS troupe” Nicole replied to their message, thanked them, and told them to vote for Val’s team:

#6 Courtney – Yeah, Oksana and Kiki are DWM, or at least they used to be. In fact, before Oksana was on DWTS, I saw her at a DWM dance competition in 2010 here in NYC.
@NYCGirl – Hmmm, didn’t know that. It’s just kind of weird, because when you hear about the DWM crew, you really only hear them talk about Ted, Nicole, & Dasha as the main “entourage”…heck, I’ve even heard Serge’s name tossed out more than Kiki & Oksana’s. Maybe they’ve changed studios, or just really lay low. Especially Kiki – he’s just kinda “that guy” in the troupe to me. Kinda quiet and keeps to himself.
Speaking of Serge (and watch this blow up into a huge rumor, even though it’s just a silly thought on my part) – is it possible that Kirstie actually got someone’s attention and Serge is the new male troupe member?
I highly doubt it, but I’d crap my pants laughing if he actually was.

On a side note, how does one pronounce Henry’s last name. I thought Maks and Val had a hard one to pronounce but his might be even harder to pronounce.
@Courtney – I know that Oksana doesn’t speak English all that well, so that’s part of why she doesn’t tweet much or appear in interviews, IMO. I don’t know about Kiki’s language skills, but I’ve seen him tweet and he sounds fluent judging by that. But they are both part of the DWM family, unless something’s changed and they are no longer affiliated with DWM. They did start out there, though. As for Serge, he’s still doing “100 Days of Dance” with Kirstie, so I don’t see him joining the troupe this season, unless he comes on really late in the game. But I have no inside knowledge, so I’m just speculating.

I can’t wait because I have met Emma and she is like Peta a blonde Australian she taught me how to dance and she is Sasha girlfriend and I loved Henry on SYTYCD Australia and SYTYCD USA and he is Australian 4 Australians in the troupe plus kym and Peta they all are hot, but I do miss Dasha
I know this is just probaly my opinion or the way my mind works but I always associated Ted with Maks and after Ted got better results out of Hope the producers defiantely were thinking we can sue this to get nice Maks back
Thanks Vogue…been wondering about the troupe. I will say I’m not happy about the changes every season. I will really miss Dasha, she is so good, loved watching her! Will also miss Teddy and Kiki if they don’t return. Oh, well!
I don’t mind getting a chance to see new dancers in The Troupe as long as the merry-go-round doesn’t make it even harder for them to stay in time with each other. That’s the big disappointment for me. Surely they have enough practice time together that they can learn to stay in sync with each other.
Love Emma Slater she is so pretty. She is actually English and I saw her in the West End, she is fantastic

Wasn’t teddy the troupe member who said he was doing college in the off seasons? If so could that be why he might not be on this season?
I’m gonna cry!I did Tweet Ted indirectly saying “I’ll be so sad if I don’t see him dance” he replied with “:// Don’t be silly”!So he kinda contradicts himself!But I will miss him if his not back!
I think if Teddy was on the troupe for this upcoming season he’d be heading to NYC to start practicing. Just guessing. He doesn’t seem to be indicating he is even going to be in LA soon.
Yeah, I wondered if they weeded out the troupe to get rid of those associated with Maks or any of the other pro dancers. Too much nepotism isn’t good. Could be why Damian isn’t doing the troupe, because he is associated with Peta.
Disappointed not to have Dasha back in the troupe, as she was by far (IMO) the best female dancer in the group. However, she was Val’s competitive partner and was suddenly left without a partner when he officially retired from competition, which allowed her to be part of the troupe. My sources say that she is gearing up for competition with a new partnership, so good for her!
Marina, keep us posed on Dasha if you hear more on her and her new competitions. I wish her nothing, but the best as well. I hope too that no matter what kind of shake down has happened, I hope we’ll still see Teddy, Dasha, etc. make some appearances periodically on the show.
I had no idea that Oksana was part of Maks entourage, because I saw a video of her doing a dance at Karina’s studio. I know her partner Sasha (different one) and her took lessons from Shirley Ballas, but I’m not sure if she was a devote Maks student. I know Kiki is one of his students though, at least more so than Oksana. Maybe Dasha is gonna partner up with her boyfriend Slavik for competition?!?! Although I have a feeling he’s pretty much retiring.
Oksana is returning? That’s all I need to know!

It is official. Sasha,Sharna, Kiki,Oksana from season 13 and new dancers Emma and Henry. I’m happy Oksana and Sasha are back.I love watch them dancing last season. I was hoping Sasha be promoted to a pro this season. He is by far the best male troupe dancer. He picked up the highest voting score as a preferred next season pro. Emma is another blonde beauty this season,love to see her dancing.
Sasha did one season of DWTS in Australia. He then left to tour with Burn the Floor, I think the reason he wasn’t promoted to fulltime pro is a height issue. His a shortie, but agreed to all of the above comments about his talent.. a stand out in not just the troupe but also in Burn the Floor.

I too wonder if this doesn’t signal some sort of deMaksification process. Now how long before Jason Gilkison proclaims DWTS as “his show.”

Oksana has nothing to do with DWM. Kiki however does, he started dancing under Maks and Val as a young boy.
Troupe this season is Kiki, Sasha, Henry, Oksana, Sharna, Emma.
