Two More Days: Need Some More Dancing With The Stars Season 14 Teasers?
Have you seen the “Anything Can Happen” promo yet? If not, you can view it below….
And if that wasn’t enough, and thanks to Heidi and Pure Derek Hough, you can also see a great summation video of the couples first meeting at the Huffington Post. Be sure to see it as it’s got some footage we haven’t seen yet.
Too fun! I’ve never been this excited about a Dancing With The Stars cast before as this one.

I’m excited too, and usually there is two or three who i am not bothered at all about but this time i’m intrigued to see everybody dance
obviously i have my favs but cannot wait to see how everyone gets on !
I have to say I’m disappointed that they used the footage of Kym’s “accident”–they could have used the start–cut away to her on her side. Especially since Kym has said she never wants to see it and her docs told her not to watch it.
Other than that—it was okay.
Well Sheery I didn’t want to see it again either. There was no need to show the accident at all. And to top it off lets show Kym’s wardrobe malfunction too. Poor Kym.
And of course, we got a shot of Maks in all his glory.
Yeah, I found that commercial to be rather…um…unnecessary.
What’s ABC trying to do? Torture us? Showing Kym’s fall then the wardrobe malfunction was really not necessary. Every time I watch an interview with Kym and they show her fall, I warn people about it and tell them where they can find the fall so they know when to look away. It’s not something I like to watch but I do so I know whether to warn people and when the fall shows up. Everyone knows about it by now so why even keep showing it, especially without a warning? I spoke to a guy on twitter and he worked in the medical field and have seen so much abuse and violence towards women and the neck injuries he has seen and he was extremely upset and emotional about ABC’s decision to keep showing it.
Besides, the commercial seems to be trying to show everyone things that happens on DWTS that people don’t care to see again. So many people are already so tired of Maks’ antic and tantrums, including stomping his feet and yelling, “I did!,” Kate crying, Marie collapsing. Kinda giving the people the idea the show is all about drama and ratings and not fun or entertainment. People tune in to be entertained, not tortured by horrible falls or to be driven crazy out of their minds about the drama and antics people pull.
Wow. Kym’s fall, her wardrobe malfunction, then looking at the Huffington Post video – once again, the (rather awkward, IMO) video of Kym & Jaleel stretching…. I wonder just exactly WHO is ticked-off at Kym?
OK, I’m trying not to over-react here, but that promo was tacky and tasteless. It’s like doing an ad for NASCAR or Formula 1 and showing nothing but crashes. Yeah, some people tune in to see the “accidents”, but is that really how you want to promote your show? Trying to attract viewers by showing Kym’s awful training accident. Really!?!
C’mon, ABC, I know it’s tough, but let’s try for a little class.
As soon as I saw the footage begin of Kym’s accident – I stopped it and clicked out — I cannot fathom any reason to be including that in a promo. Seriously made me sick to my stomach and I cannot imagine what Kym must think or feel.
Is ABC concerned about a ratings drop with this season that they think by bringing in the “drama” and “the injuries” is going to bring viewers flocking to the show? Make it something more than entertainment – dancing to be precise? What demographic did they think this would appeal to? Felt very MTV Rob Dyrdek like TV (and I know this because I have 5 “kids” 18 to 26)… personally I don’t get it.
ABC owes Kym an apology and Hines Ward as well. Dumb TV ABC! You should be ashamed — keep it to the dancing, the personalities and let’s just leave it at that… shall we?
Just my .02
PS
As for the Maks bit — been done and done again! ENOUGH already!!
Love him – the man can dance! He’s hotter then hell (btw, has anyone else been drawn to the moves and looks of baby brother Val!?!!)…… I digress.
ABC wants water cooler talk and so it seems they want it to begin now.
What do they say? There is no such thing as bad press? If people are talking (good or bad) then “they” must be doing something right. REALLY!?! Ugh – the dumbed down mentality of it all.
I hate it when I read “Only available in United States” :/
In any way…thanks for posting it Vogue!
#8/#9@Cj…. ! Agree with EVERYTHING you said. Can you hear me standing and applauding?
#11 Auntie Bellum:
High Five!
CJ, I agree completely! Someone had to warn Kym on twitter about this in case she happens to find the video. Think I’ll warn her and Hines as well in case they didn’t see this person’s tweet. I hope she and Hines didn’t see it yet.
Agree with everyone’s comments on the ABC video. On another topic, was Mark wearing spats in rehearsal in the Huffington Post video?
I’m happy you guys feel the same as I do about Kym’s accident. People think I’m overreacting about it. Well, I think people are not reacting at all or having a heart about what happened and people think that I’m not allowed to have an opinion about this. Why have social media or message boards or blogs if you’re not allowed to have different opinions? I’m glad Pure DWTS have some caring and sympathetic people here.
Aaaaaaah! Why did they feel the need to put Kym getting dropped?! I cringe every time I see it!
The fact that certain pros and such promos remain doesn’t bode well for a less drama-filled, staged reality leaning season.
