DWTS Mark Ballas Writes About First Dance With Katherine Jenkins, Sizes Up The Competition

Mark Ballas has written a new blog for Dancing With The Stars at USA Today. He writes all about his trip to London and meeting Katherine Jenkins. He also writes about their first dance and how they were able to size up the competition when they arrived to Los Angeles to rehearse. Below is a little take, but, be sure you read the full blog at the link.

Our first dance is the fox trot, which suits Katherine beautifully. She took to the choreography really well in the beginning, and we have been working extremely hard four to six hours a day. We are laughing a lot, and I am proud to say her dancing has improved immensely. We flew back to America and hit the ground running, picking right back up in our rehearsing at the training facility with all the other couples.

Since we didn’t get to see too much of the others rehearsing, we decided to do a “show and tell” and had all the couples dance for each other. It was a great way to size up the competition, and Season 14 is TALENTED! I really feel like this could be one of the best seasons for dancing, and I can’t wait for you all to watch.

Less than 28 hours and counting down until showtime, Everyone! 🙂
