I’m just going to say it. As a woman, Cheryl embarrasses me with her behavior towards William. Clearly, he is not “along for the ride” with her groping. If this was a man doing it to a female celeb, people would be going NUTS (moreso then we are now). It’s ridiculous. Let the poor guy show another side of himself, and I don’t mean the naked side. I’m sure there’s more substance to him that just being a “hot piece of a**!”

I agree Magnolia!! At first, I wasn’t so bothered by the pimping the sexiness of him, but, geez, Cheryl and TPTB are shoving it down our throats now. Even William himself seems uncomfortable with it. Lay off already and just concentrate on teaching him to dance well and be classy while doing it like she did with Rob K. Let his sexiness come out in a natural way. It doesn’t need to be shoved down our throats.

I”m with you, Magnolia. The double standard is astounding. I can’t believe William fans wouldn’t rather actually see what he can do, as opposed to just selling the sex to get the scores from CAI and Bruno. Of course, he’s doing Jive next week and that should be the real test.

I found his “personal story” this week very touching and something that a lot of people in this country can relate to. But then after the dance…no one wanted to talk about it. They just wanted to know when he was going to take his shirt off again. Sure, he might get paid to do that with his acting and modeling gigs, but he’s on this show to dance. Vogue, you’re right. Cheryl needs to spend more time teaching him how to be smooth, suave, etc while dancing instead of just ripping his clothes off.

It’s just getting harder and harder to like him as a person now with the constant pimpage of his “hotness.” I almost want him to get eliminated because he is so clearly uncomfortable with this behavior. Just my opinion, though.

Thank you, Magnolia, for saying what I’ve been thinking. William is “not* comfortable being waved around like a piece of juicy steak on the end of fork. Yes, he’s done revealing photo shoots and sexy music vids, but I get the impression he’s not an exhibitionist by nature. He buttoned his shirt on the walk up the stairs to the celebrequarium. If he was all about trading on “sexy” he wouldn’t have done that. Cheryl and TPTB need to show him some respect and allow him to show *us* the other sides of his personality.

I also love you Donald, LOL. Donald is in my top two along with WIlliam, and that’s because I know William’s journey since he’s from my town. Go Cubanito!!! I don’t like either how Cheryl treats her partner, is like he’s her new puppy that she’s showing off. I still can’t understand we she;s not noticing that is makes him uncomfortable since she has repeated a few times that she had to battle with him to open the shirt. I can tell you for a fact that he doesn’t want to be seen as a piece of meat, he was offered a Hollywood role a few months back and he turned it down because it was a stripper.

Thank you both. We sure are, you have no idea how far he has come. When he started he was a country cuban, the way he talked and acted, but he was always talking about family and giving them a future and of his grandma in Cuba, he finally brought her to the States last year. I’m sure is very hard for him to say no, don’t take any clothes off when you get a bunch of people telling you listen to the audience that’s what they want and you want to win right?.
