Carrie Anne Inaba stopped by the KTLA studios this morning to talk all things Dancing With The Stars. The interviewers rave about the show being “off the charts” this season. Carrie Anne is loving her job, but, it’s not easy.
Carrie Anne talks of how well she and the other judges get along. They talk of how William Levy is good looking, but, he also can dance and has an “extra magical charm”. Carrie Anne compares William to Emmitt Smith for how a “magic” just happens when he steps out to dance.
Carrie Anne also says it’s the best season ever because of the good dancing and the showmanship if you aren’t necessarily a good dancer.
She discusses how she rescues cats and how happy it makes her as well. If you love cats, you will really appreciate this interview in another way. Very cool. You can listen to the complete interview with Carrie Anne here.
Access Hollywood went into the rehearsals of Sherri and Val yesterday to interview them on their upcoming Tango. Sherri says it’s going to be “wild” and there will be no more tears this week. Val says we are going to see Sherri’s best performance on Monday night. She’s feeling it and there is a lot more freedom in this dance. Lots more from these two below. Also note too that The View is planning to show Sherri and Val in rehearsal on Monday as well. So, stay tuned.
Pictured about is Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower. The fun duo stopped by The Grove in Hollywood yesterday to talk about Dancing With The Stars with Mario Lopez. Roshon always likes to fun it up for the camera. If interested, you can see some more pics from this album at Zimbio Pictures. Roshon tweeted that he’s “feelin good about the next dance and ready to get it crackin.” Chelsie tweeted on their new dance as well. See more from her below.
Getting down this vienese waltz! @roshon is doing great! Dancing to one of my all time favorite vienese waltz’
Celebrity Baby Scoop has a new interview up with Brooke Burke. She talks of the challenges being a mother to four kids and on her new short film for Claritin titled “The Difference is Clear”. She also commented on the new season of Dancing With The Stars. She’s struggling with her favorite and who she thinks will win as many of us are. If interested, be sure to read the link for more.
CBS: Things are pretty hot on Dancing with the Stars already!
BBC: “I know, what a night on Monday! There were so many tears in the ballroom, it was such an emotional show. I cried and everybody in the ballroom was crying; the cast was crying. It was ridiculous [laughs]!
I think this is the strongest cast we’ve ever had as far as the quality of dancing goes. There’s different frontrunners every week and we have no idea who will make it to the semi-finals. Usually you kind of know early on, but everybody’s just so good. Even the bottom of the leader-board people are doing fantastic. It’s one of those very unpredictable season, but so much talent. Who knew with this cast?!”
CBS: Do you have a favorite?
BBC: “It’s really hard. I think Donald is unbelievable and he hasn’t had his shining moment yet. But he’s just such a loveable, charasmatic guy. But Gavin’s charming and loveable, Roshon’s an incredible dancer. I’m always partial to Derek and I think he and Maria had a great night Monday night. And of course Katherine already looks like a pro – it’s kind of ridiculous!
It’s a tough one this season. Honestly, for the first time ever, I can’t pick my top 2. And we usually place bets on who we think will win [laughs].”
Good morning All! Let’s start the day off with a new Piers Morgan interview with Katherine Jenkins. She wanted to address rumors in America that she’s using drugs which she isn’t using any longer. She said, “It’s something that…kind of just being young and stupid, and in my teens, and experimenting with things that yes, I regret, and I definitely shouldn’t have done, but I wanted to come out and talk about it and be honest.” You can listen to more below. The interview took place last night. Did any of you see it? If so, let us know what else she said if you can.
Stay tuned! We hope to have more Dancing With The Stars updates on Katherine and Mark later!!
Adding: Here she is arriving for the Grand Opening of Robert Earl’s Planet Dailies & Mixology 101 at The Farmer’s Market yesterday. You can view more pics and read some teasers on her and Mark’s upcoming Paso Doble at the Daily Mail.
ADDING#2: Mark has written a new blog about their dance on Monday. Also note, that he will be dancing in a pro number. More below and at USA Today.
A big challenge for this week was getting Katherine in the fighting spirit, as she is the most soft-natured person ever. I had to really get creative with finding the right way to do this and you’ll have to tune in on Monday to see the result! We’re definitely going for an edgier look for Katherine this week. I think it’s going to be awesome way of showing her versatility and her ability to adapt well to all styles.
It’s been really great being at the top of the leader board for the past three weeks, but that’s not my sole focus. For me, as long as Katherine and I come off the floor feeling really happy, then I will be really satisfied whether we get high scores or not.
I will be dancing in the pro number on Tuesday, too, which I’m looking forward to because it’s my first pro number on the results show this season. I’ll be dancing to a guest artist that I used to listen to when I was younger so I’m really excited.
