I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Love, Love, Love her!! Loved Kirstie and Maks chemistry in Season 12! Followed Kirstie & Serge Onik (student of Maks) via her 100daysofdance.com journey – she’s a trip and very committed to the cause – quite an inspiration! Looking forward to 20/20 tonite, and particularly her contribution! Can’t wait to see how she finishes the “love him, but he’s not a friend” line about Maks that they cut off midstream in the teaser – teaser got my attention! I’m convinced there’s more excellence to Maks than we’ll ever be allowed to see in his DWTS packages – hence, bad boy of the ballroom image for the ratings drama!
Love Kirstie she tells it like it is. You would never think she was a celebrity—–she tells it like it is whether it is good or bad. Maks I thought was at his very best with Kirstie. We knew he was funny but had no idea how funny and what a quick retort he had to some of Kirsties one liners. They put Chelsea Kane who was a very good dancer in third place! She said she did 100 days of dance to pay forward what Maks had done for her. She still supports him on twitter. He heped Brandy,Erin and Kirstie through some difficult times.Too bad some of his die hard power voting fans on twitter hate her and love Erin and Brandy who have not given him much support lately!!
Diana, re Erin and Brandy, keep in mind that he had a bit of a ‘personal’ relationship with each of them, so it’s more ‘complicated’ for them to express public support for him. Whereas with Kirstie, there isn’t that complication. Also, it may be that as time goes on, former partners get more and more emotionally removed from the DWTS experience, and while they probably continue to support Maks and his success on the show, it’s not top-of-mind for them to tweet or otherwise publicly express that. IMO.
