I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Aside from the actual dancing, I love to watch the way the partnerships develop and change as the season goes on. (I don’t vote based on it, but I find the partnership growth more interesting than the celeb’s growth as a dancer.) Some couples click right away, but others have to work at it. For the most part, they find a way to survive. I guess they have to because they’re stuck with each other until they’re eliminated. Still, I think a lot of times they develop a sense of respect for one another. Once there’s mutual respect, you can find a way to work together to do what needs to be done even if you’re never going to be BFFs.
