Dancing With The Stars Jaleel White: “I bow down to the beast…that is the dance floor!”
“I bow down to the beast…that is the dance floor!” ~Jaleel White on his elimination!
I have to give Jaleel some props last night. Although I was never wild about his dancing and some of his behaviors through the controversies that came out, he handled his elimination like a pro and better than I thought he would. He took it with a big smile and was thankful for his time and the new friends he made on Dancing With The Stars. Also, the quote above will be one I file away in my Dancing With The Stars memory book! Thanks Jaleel and good luck with all of your future and personal endeavors!!
So, let’s see what Jaleel and Kym had to say after their elimination. Here they are on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE (David Arquette joins in on the fun! Let’s just say…there is a lot of bleeping going on), On The Red Carpet, Good Morning America (check out how his daughter called Kym a “princess”. Kym and Jaleel think katherine will win the competition), and Entertainment Tonight (this one includes some thoughts from his fellow competitors).

LOVE that david was there, he’s funny. Tiny piece of me feels bad for Kym & Jaleel purely because he had talent/potential from week 1 and no matter what the personality IF it is about the dance quality, then Melissa should have went before Jack or Sherri or Jaleel.
Rumors swirling Kym is with Cheryl & William. Maybe because they are friends, but that would be good.
Yes, I can see Kym with them!
i want to send a big shout out and thank you to everyone at puredwts for another fab week of news, info, number crunching, power rankings, etc. I get so caught up in it all that sometimes I forget my manners! I never take this site for granted believe me. It makes the season so much more exciting! Thanks guys!
Awww, thanks Megs and DITTO! Thanks to all of you for reading and commenting. You make the show even more fun! xxxx
Sad that Jaleel and Kym are eliminated and even more sad that people chose to believe everything they read.
Anyway, them on the JKL was funny and how awkward it must’ve been for Kym lol!
Sheery, what do you mean rumors swirling Kym is with Cheryl and William?
Interesting Liz??!! I really wouldn’t be judging others and what they believe especially when you judged and didn’t have very nice things to say in these posts about Jaleel yourself:

I really hope Kym gets to dance with Cheryl and William next week!!!! I wanted her to be paired with him anyway!! and I LOVE how Cheryl and Kym are besties!
OH also this entire interview is the best elimination interview ever!!!
You mean to say that saying people believe everything they read is judging people? LOL. Ok, let’s say it is. What if it’s true? What if people really are believing everything they read? Saying that they believe everything they read… that’s judging people?
As for what I said about Jaleel in the last few weeks, it’s called “critical criticism” and “encouraging him to focus.” I don’t remember calling him mean, rude or abusive. If I did, please feel free to link to places where I called him mean, rude or abusive to Kym or his ex. I wanted him to do better and focus, not beat him down. One can’t be positive all the time in life and like I said in other posts, I’m a person and I have opinions, too.
I see what you guys mean about the trio dance. Hmm, that’s very interesting! I’m curious to see how that’s gonna look. They haven’t done anything like this before, right?
You referred to people as being “sad” because they “believe everything they read”. Twist it how you like, but, that is judging and judging people for having a differing opinion from your own when you have been critical of Jaleel yourself in the links which I already posted. I know you don’t like it, but, people have a right to believe what they want of Jaleel.
Well, Liz, you did sound rather snotty and you were commenting on what other people were saying as opposed to expressing your own opinion. Just sayin’.
Yes, difference of opinions just like now. I call it “critical criticism” and you call it “judging Jaleel.” Whatever. From time to time, we all get judged. When people believe everything they read, something like this can happen. Jaleel got eliminated. That’s why I said it was “sad”. Now, it’s always possible that what people read or heard has nothing to do with Jaleel getting eliminated. It’s just my opinion of what happened but I can never say for sure. I don’t think anyone can. I have no idea what most of Americans were thinking when they didn’t vote for Jaleel. It’s possible he was out because people weren’t impressed with his dancing, could because they believed that he really did abuse his ex and argued with Kym, could be because Melissa impressed more people than Jaleel did for most, could be because people wanted him to do the Urkel dance and they got tired of waiting. We’ll all have our own reasons for not voting or voting and what really happened but it doesn’t matter now. What’s done is done and we just have to get on to Week 8.
Your broad generalization isn’t very appropriate here, though, Liz and I think you know that. Yet you post it here so it sounds like you’re talking to the people HERE. And from what I’ve read, the people here didn’t like Jaleel LONG before his issues hit the media. That’s a fact.
Really loved the conversation between Kym,Jaleel and David on the JK show last night. Very sad that Jaleel is gone. Still can’t believe that Melissa was not in the bottom two. Lol, the power of the vote! Imo, hoping for Melissa to take her leave next week, but your never know. As for Jaleel, I enjoyed this youngman on dwts this season. This door has closed for him, but another has already opened, wishing him all the best with his new game show!
I enjoyed watching Jaleel and voted for him every week along with Donald, Katherine and Roshon. I like what he said about Len being the old man in grocery store w
ho wouldnt give money to a kid.
I hope this is the first and last season they do the dance duel. If not, I think it should be done before the finals.
Definitely the best elimination interview on JKL. What a hoot those 3 were. Wish Jaleel had lived up to his Week 1 potential, but c’est la vie.
Loved seeing David again. Thought he was surprisingly calm and self-contained, then he jumped up and started gyrating. LOL, same ol’ David.
Two of Kym’s more “challenging” partners, for sure; but Kym (as always) came through beautifully. She’s such a darling.
Hope it’s true that she’s with Cheryl and William in the Trio dance.
