Below is a little take….

“It’s amazing,” Murgatroyd said, looking around the burnished wood floors and dripping chandeliers of the expansive studio. “I have gotten no sleep, but it’s great to be here supporting Maks and Tony and Val. It’s going to be a booming success here.”

Perched on the fifth floor of 20 Summer St., the studio has been open to clients for just over a month, but Dovolani and the Chmerkovskiys used the occasion of the show’s season finale to invite new students, business owners, and the Stamford community to view the space. This is the fourth dance studio the three business partners have opened in the tri-state area since 2005.

“One of the things we take pride in is that we can teach anybody how to dance,” Dovolani, a Stamford native, said. “People always ask, `What’s the appropriate age?’ Now is the appropriate age. There’s no one who’s too young or too old.”

Since finishing their appearance on this season of “Dancing With the Stars,” the dancers will have a little more time to devote to their budding enterprise in the city.

“This is where I’m going to live until this studio is completely successful and everyone in Fairfield County is dancing,” Dovolani said.

Even when Dovolani and the Chmerkovskiys are not in attendance, the studio will still offer a high level of instruction, Val Chmerkovskiy said, with a widely recruited and well-vetted staff.

“What we’re trying to do is give people the experience that our stars get on `Dancing With the Stars,’ ” Chmerkovskiy said. “Yes, they will get our interaction, but they will also get the same education and end product. You will get that end product with us or without us.”
