Dancing Pro Mark Ballas To Work With Timbaland, Bangladesh And The Beamer Boyz
Mark wrote his last blog for the season at USA Today. He talks of how proud he is of taking an “unknown” to the finals and how thankful he is for all the fan support for he and Katherine Jenkins. They had a great time in New York City making the press rounds after the show. He also took some time to celebrate his birthday and spend time with his mom Shirley Ballas (pictured above). You can read on Mark’s summer plans below of working on a new album and working with music moguls and producers like Timbaland, Bangladesh, and the Beamer Boyz. He hopes to be back for the All-Star season of Dancing With The Stars.
This summer, I will be working on a new album. I recently signed to BMG as a writer/artist and will be working with some amazing producers like Timbaland, Bangladesh and the Beamer Boyz. I’m really looking forward to resting my body for a little and focusing on music and other things. Make sure to keep up with me on twitter @markballas for more updates during the break.
Until then, this wild animal is going to take a break and hopefully they will let me back out of my cage for DWTS’ All-Stars season! Hope to see you there!

I think you meant moguls.
those producers style do not match his style. I cannot really pulling off that style but who knows. He is clearly happy when he does music. Good for him. The shaved head though makes him look intense and sorry gives him that serial killer look. Creepy.
Yeah mark said his new music will be diffrent, but still stays true to himself as an artist. I am so excited to hear it! Oh by the way did you guys see this Katherine and Mark cooking at The Chew.
This is a great idea for him too: a duet with the one and only Gladys Knight. She seemsl ike she would do it to help him out plus based on hsi reaction to her singing he will love it.
I’m happy for Mark for doing what he loves. I seem to notice that for certain people that are talented in many areas of entertainment, one of their talents seems to be the best one and the other talents, although good, are not at the same level. For me, Mark’s best talent is dancing. Its always wonderful to see what a great relationship he and mom Shirley have. She is a lucky mom to have such a devoted son. I agree with Melissa #1: the shaved head look is not flattering. Mark has such beautiful curly black hair, why shave it off, unless its just too much trouble to manage it. As a curly-haired gal, I can relate to that!
