Melissa Rycroft, Joey Fatone, and Pamela Anderson “likely” to Dance and More DWTS News
It’s been a great day for news and rumors and here is more from Entertainment Weekly. They say Melissa Rycroft, Joey Fatone, and Pamela Anderson are “likely” to dance (Yay, I hope this is true and I especially love Pamela!). The industry whisperers have been quieter than usual this cycle, but we’re still hearing names of a few celebrities who are expected to return to the ballroom: Melissa Rycroft (Season 8), Joey Fatone (Season 4) and Pamela Anderson (Season 10) are likely to don sequins when the show resumes this fall.
Also, we hear Executive Producer Conrad Green is injecting a new twist to the casting process this year:
ABC will let fans pick a returning star. The network will announce the names of three former Dancing contestants (we’re hearing Carson Kressley is one of them) and let viewers vote on which celebrity gets the final spot on the show.
And what about Bristol Palin? With her Lifetime show bombing isn’t she ready to return to the reality TV big leagues? No intel there yet. Though we’re hearing that you shouldn’t expect another attention-getting Dancing alum, Stacy Keibler, to take a break from George Clooney to hit the dance floor anytime soon.
So, what do you think? Interesting that Carson may be one of the people we will be voting on!

Melissa Rycroft, oh gawd, I thought her 15 minutes of fame were over. I can’t stand her. So I hope this rumor is False.
Maks “claims” that some old pros won’t be back…..hmmm? Damian an “old” pro? Perhaps not coming back due to recent romance on DWTS?
I can get behind Melissa and Pamela.
Indifferent about Joey because I don’t feel like he has anything left to prove. He did very well in his season 4 run.
Please god, I hope whoever the 2 in the vote in with Carson is voted in over him. Love his personality but a truly awful dancer.
Not surprised about those three. I don’t think they have a lot going on professionally and the exposure will help them.
Yeah, I think Damian is one of the old pros “not” coming back. Less to do with the Maks/Peta drama/romance and more to do with that he hasn’t been on the show for a while. Kind of like Dymtry Chaplin.
I’d love it if Damian came back…..and remember how he tweeted he came back to LA for meetings a couple of weeks ago? Made me wonder if something might not be in the works?
My biggest regret of season 10 is that Pamela net got to do the samba.

If Carson is on the “voting list”, I don’t think Kelly will return, he is one of my favorite too and I don’t think I’m the only one.
I would love to see Damian come back to dance with Pam. And, assuming Peta returns … it could be very interesting. I really liked Joey when he was on but, with him just dancing in Las Vegas … along with other former celebs, doesn’t that give them a really unfair advantage?
I love Melissa Rycroft–she’s one of my favorites ever on the show. I hope it is true that she will be back, and I hope she’s paired with Val, Tristan, or Derek.
I like Pamela and Joey but they don’t make me overly excited. I would not consider Pamela and all star. The only reason I really remember her run on the show is because I really liked Damien that season.

If Damian isn’t back it isn’t because he doesn’t want to do it…didn’t he re-tweet a fan’s tweet about having him & pam on the All Star season?
Why re-tweet it if he didn’t want to do it? Other “situations” would be what would keep him off
Damien was kind of blah to me, doesn’t matter if he comes back or not as Pamela’s partner.
I never got into the Damian & Pam partnership so her coming back doesn’t really excite me nor does Joey. However, I really enjoyed Melissa so I can definitely get on board for that one.
And Winter, I agree with you. If Pamela is back & Damian isn’t, I would hardly pin it on the fact that Maks & Peta are dating (if they still are). I really don’t think the producers care as much about those types of situations as the fans may think they do.
