The Insider caught up with Emmitt Smith to ask him about the Chad Johnson scandal, but, they also ask him why he decided to dance again on the all star season of Dancing With The Stars. He didn’t want a lot past champs coming back with Emmitt Smith saying “no” or that he’s afraid of stiffer competition. More below. Note how Cheryl is beside him in her title shoot robe.
In a recent interview with Washington Times, Drew Lachey talks of reuniting with boy band 98 Degrees and appearing on Dancing with the Stars for the All Star season. Below is a take where he talks about the show and his goals for it.
“It’s a great opportunity to show that season two, yes, was early on in the show but us champions and early winners can still compete with these new people. They’re talking about how intense the show is now and how much harder it’s gotten and there might be some truth to that, but I kind of take that as a personal challenge for me to come out and represent and do well,” he said.
This time around Lachey will be paired with Ana Trebunskaya. His former partner Cheryl Burke will dance with Emmitt Smith.
Lachey described not working with Burke as “bittersweet.”
“There’s history there and we know how to work together and how to dance together but there’s also excitement to do something new. A new partner, a new dynamic, a new style, new choreography, new techniques,” he said.
Once “Dancing with the Stars” wraps up the season, he’s hoping 98 Degrees can record new music.
More at the Washington Times. If you have a Facebook account, you can watch a video of he and Anna talking about their partnership HERE. No doubt these two will give it all they’ve got!! They look great too together, don’t they? Drew also chats on Dancing With The Stars on The Insider in the video below at the 2:40 mark. So driven as well as making it with his band again!
Be sure to tune into the Today Show on Friday to see him perform LIVE with 98 Degrees.
Good looking couple and not too horrible on the height difference.
“We’re all friends… but we all really want that position,” Kyle told Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover and guest co-host Niecy Nash (a fellow “DWTS” alum) on Tuesday.
Kyle hopes people vote for him to be on the show because he’ll add to the ballroom flavor.
“I really bring something different… I think that [I] bring that young, youthfulness — of course the sexiness,” he laughed. “I think I’ve learned so much from the first time until now.” ~Kyle Massey with Access Hollywood

Dancing With The Stars Cheryl Burke has made Celebuzz’s 101 Hot Bodies List. Coming in at #71, Cheryl gave them an exclusive interview. She talks about keeping fit with Jazzercise, but, her best way to keep fit is by dancing with a partner. More below….
Celebuzz: Do you work out solo or with a buddy?
CB: I normally work out alone but when I dance it is always with a partner. There’s honestly no better exercise on the planet than dancing for a full body and mind workout.
Celebuzz: What’s your favorite part of your body?
CB: My back.
Celebuzz: What’s the key to keeping fit and healthy?
CB: The key to being fit and healthy is maintaining realistic goals.
You can read the full interview here. They’ve chosen a great pic to go with the article too.
I love Pamela Anderson, do you? I can’t wait to see how much her dancing has improved. She is going to make a great pairing with Tristan MacManus. Who is on the same page? Speaking of, Pam talks about dancing on the show again in a new interview at Joonbug. Below is a take and be sure to read and see more at the link. I love what she says about “empowerment” and “seeing what she’s made of”. Picture above is courtesy of Wire Image. I believe it might be a take from her new Paradise Cove Collection shoot which will be coming out soon? I love LOVE her work to try and save animals. Here’s to Pam and Tristan!
Are you excited for your return to Dancing with the Stars?
Excited, nervous…I’m an underdog in this group. Whatever happens I’m going to learn something and carry more skills into my future, so I am grateful for the opportunity.
What are you looking forward to most?
Performing every week. To me it’s like a play once a week. So I hope to stay in it for a while, but taking it one show at a time. I am experimenting, applying a lot of different things at once, I have nothing to lose! I don’t care about impressing everyone. I’m interested in empowerment and seeing what I’m made of. For me.
You seem to be quite busy lately. Do you have anything else on your plate right now?
My plate is full, always. Sometimes a little underground. But obviously my family and animal rights issues come first.
What are some of your favorite bars/clubs to go to?
