Dmitry Chaplin Choreographing for So You Think You Can Dance

Dmitry fans, set your DVR’s! Looks like Dmitry is one of the choreographers on this week’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance:

Dmitry is the 2nd DWTS pro to choreograph on this season of SYTYCD – Louis choreographed a samba back in week 1. Also appearing on this coming week’s episode of SYTYCD? Anya Garnis of the Vegas troupe, who will be dancing with one of the contestants as an all-star – maybe in Dmitry’s piece?

Also semi-interesting to note: despite what Heidi & I have pointed out to be a strong anti-ballroom bias on SYTYCD, the two female ballroom contestants this season, Lindsey & Witney,Β are still in the competition – and I think they’re actually the two strongest female dancers with the best chance of winning this season.Β  Both apparently have attended Chelsie’s studio in Salt Lake City, and have also worked with Mark.Β  Hmmm…anyone else think we might see them as troupe members or pros on a future season of DWTS? πŸ™‚

Special thanks to @DMITRYDREAMTEAM for the heads up about Dmitry πŸ™‚ Be sure to check out our sister site, Pure SYTYCD, for more news & updates on the current season of So You Think You Can Dance 😎

UPDATE: Check out the cha-cha Dmitry choreographed for contestant Cole & all-star Anya below 😎

ETA #2: Check out a cute interview with Dmitry after the show, where he talks about what it was like working with Cole & Anya and whether or not he agrees with what the judges had to say about Cole’s performance.Β  Thanks to reader Maria for the heads-up! πŸ˜€

Ultrasound sales specialist by day, semi-knowledgeable DWTS fan by night...with a smattering of hair & makeup enthusiast, occasional model, baker, and crazy cat lady peppered in to make things REALLY interesting ;-) I might pee my pants in happiness if Donnie Wahlberg ever does DWTS - or if they ever use "Sunglasses at Night" as a paso doble.

Kirstie Alley On DWTS “It’s tough and sparkly and 100% The REAL DEAL”

We haven’t seen many interviews with Kirstie Alley yet for Dancing With The Stars. For now, it’s fun to watch her tweets (as it always is if you are a fan!). She says something about Dancing With The Stars or her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy just about every day or so. She’s also been campaigning for Carson Kressley to fill the wild card spot. Can you just imagine the trouble those two will get into on the show when encountered or inspired? 😯

Also, Kirstie has taken some time to address fans and haters to she and Maks. This past week, she wrote, “Thank you SOOO much for your support and kind words to @MaksimC and me…& to the *******: keep rockin that hate it makes us STRONGER :)”.

Then on Thursday, Kirstie tweeted, “Just wanted to say..DWTS is THE most REAL reality show on TV..what u see is what u get.. It’s tough and sparkly and 100% The REAL DEAL!!” Did Kirstie mean these words in addressing Hope Solo’s Dancing With The Stars comments in her new book since this is when the story broke out about them? Not sure, but, it sure is an interesting tweet regardless. For more on this topic, be sure you read our Hope Solo on Maks and DWTS – Opinion Piece.

If you are a fan to Kirstie, be sure to follow her twitter account here. What’s fun too is that sometimes she’ll even tweet back to you.

Tristan MacManus Says Pamela Anderson Is Very Determined To Do Well On Dancing With The Stars All Stars

What a special treat this is! Dancing With The Stars pro Tristan MacManus took some time to answer some excellent fan questions about Dancing With The Stars. He starts out by talking about Pamela Anderson and the differences of what it might be like teaching with her versus his former partners Nancy Grace and Gladys Knight. He says it will be different and yet the same. He also adds Pam is very determined to do well for the Dancing With The Stars All Star season. She knows what she wants to do differently and add from the last time she was on the show. They also ask him some personal questions such as if he’s comfortable in front of the camera. He answers questions about his famous t-shirt collection as well. You can view more of this fun interview in detail and see lots of his gorgeous smile at DublinDown330 You Tube.
