Derek, Mark, And Romey Hit the Beach in Malibu

Well, at least Derek and Mark are getting in their fun times before rehearsals start TODAY. The Daily Mail and Zimbio have dozens of pictures of Derek, with some of Mark thrown in for good measure. Don’t blame me that both articles are about Derek. :-) I just adore Derek’s dog – such a cutie pie.

Did Derek say what kind of dog Romeo was? Definitely a cutie.

If I recall, I think JR actually has a dog named Romeo as well. Black lab, maybe? I think Vogue may have posted some pix around Halloween last year of a party at JR’s house, and JR’s Romeo was wearing a t-shirt

I think he shaved, Kenna – there is another picture where he looks about 12 years old. I predicted he would shave cuz he’s dancing with Shawn and he’ll want to young-ify himself down closer to her age.

He said he’s a shepherd mix…I think he has a bit of Rot in him too, you can see it in his face. But probably mostly shepherd based on the body. Derek’s in love.

He’s such a good dog if Derek can let him run loose on the beach. I know I can’t do that with my dog ever, so I’m a bit jealous.

I was wondering why he shaved, other than I think it flatters his face more. Thanks for the info Heidi. It makes perfect sense to “youngify” himself for Shawn. Brilliant. I’m so happy for D that he found his canine “match made in heaven”. He and Romy are so precious together!

a lot of pros have dogs right? derek, julianne, lacey, maks… and i saw a picture of tony with a little dog, but not sure if its his dog?

anyway, i think its nice that they’re being example for dwts audience. of course, i’d like them to buy/take(not sure if they have to pay or not) all the pets instead of taking care of one. its too bad that the dogs(and cats, i guess) who don’t have owners are being put to sleep. it must be forbidden.
