I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Sabrina still don’t know how To dress herself, she is wearing Lacey bra vest from her samba with lance. Sabrina does not the body for that kind of oufit, and the Big hair just looks tacky. I bet louis crazy ideas will make then get eliminated as soon as possible.
I could barely see Sabrina to see what she was wearing, but it looked sort of like the costume she was wearing in the dance they showed of her and Mark. She may not have even selected it for herself.
From what I could see, her hair and make-up looked pretty, though.
Can you say obnoxious? Only my opinion but I think we’ve got a couple of ginormous egos on our hands.
The season hasn’t even started and I am already sick of seeing them lol.

That’s funny, that’s exactly what I was saying to Courtney last night on twitter – huge egos and already tired of them.
Sounds like TPTB are back to taking requests. It used to be that the pros gave a list of songs they wanted to dance to at the beginning of the season. There’s no guarantee that you will get those songs, but you got to ask. The last few seasons I don’t believe they’ve had any choice in music at all, just from listening to what a lot of the pros and celebs were saying.
Wouldn’t it be a little funny if she got foxtrot as her week 1 dance and then was the first one eliminated? It’ll be like deja vu all over again
Heidi, but I think the Belly dancer salsa was Mark’s idea. I also remember Donald saying the producers throwed him a hip hop as freestyle song and he asked to change it.
I do still think that the best thing is give the freedom of choice to the pros, so they can work the song as they want instead of that “almost always” terrible theme weeks.
In my happy DWTS world, Sabrina goes out first, Kirstie second and Bristol third, that way I can enjoy the show. Can’t stand those celebs or their pros.
So the couples get to suggest what they’d like to dance to this season?
Well that would be a nice change. We might actually get more music that suits the dance styles as well as fewer retreads (I’m all about recycling, but it was getting ridiculous). Of course, the next question is how many songs will the show be able to clear?
Well, last season, Melissa said that she submitted about 170+ songs that she might like to use during the season, so that’s really nothing new. I think what might be happening with all the celebs asking their fans for suggestions is that they might be having a fan’s song choice night or something.
I really wonder what the judges are going to do..are they going to have a soft spot for Sabrina because of BEFORE!! and coddle Bristol while at the same time Nit-picking and underscoring Shawn, Dru and others because they won?
Also I think the music and which styles of dances during the first couple of weeks could really tip the balance. The whole season will be a mindbender.
I think there is a poss. that Sabr/Louis could be the first to go. And I also think theres a big poss. that Bristol could outlast Pam,Kirstie,Kelly and Helio maybe Emmit. I say that again because of the order of the dances. Those who are not as strong dancers had big issues with certain styles. If their first dance is their worst…they won’t get a second chance.
I love Sabrina. I really do. But I’m sorry, I cannot vote for her because of Louis. I cannot take his ego and/or forget the bashing he did seasons ago and…yeah, I’m not going to go there. But as for Sabrina, I’m not sure if I read ego from her, but she could come off as Brandy did to some who felt she was a wee bit strong in desiring that trophy ( I LOVE my girl Brandy, but even I was like “Hold on Girl”)
Sabrina fans are buzzing about a “rumor” that the couples will have to switch partners for a week. Naturally, they believe that Mark is asking for/hoping for Sabrina. If it’s a leak, it’s interesting, however if it is not, than whoa, what a very creative bunch lol.
Seriously, if they did do that, what about an elimination? Does the celeb go as well as the new partner and the original stays with the new celeb? Are both couples involved in a bizarre double elimination? Of course, I think this is shipper non-sense, but then I think of the WTA cha cha and well, anything is possible I suppose.
I don’t know. I think if the TPTB wanted Mark to be paired with Sabrina this season they would have made it happen from day one.
I hope that rumor is not true, that would ruin everything that the couples had been working so hard to achieve… and it would piss me off!!
Like I said before, all the pros used to submit all the songs they would like to dance to before every season, but they weren’t guaranteed to get them – but they did get them a lot of the time. In the last few seasons, it’s been the producers picking the songs – that’s been obvious from what has been said and some of the choices that were just stupid.
Last season and Melissa?? I have no idea if that was just her making a suggestion or if that was the return to the pros/celebs making requests. But either way, Evaine is right – it’s not new.
Ugh, the judges. If they do their usual bullshit this season it will be more obvious than EVER that they’re stupid. You have what? Five previous winners?? If you underscore them, or score them according to how well they SHOULD do because they won before, then go easy on Bristol and Sabrina?? Well, what the hell is the point of having an all star season. Look at each dance as being done by someone who has been on the show before, period. Score them all HARD and go from there. Don’t do this bullshit where they pat Bristol on the head and say, “that was very good, considering X Y and Z” and then turn around and give Apolo, Drew, Shawn or the others a 6 for a clearly superior dance than what Bristol did. I will break my damn TV. If they do that it will be obvious that they have learned NOTHIING about how their own damn show works. Or that the whole thing really is rigged.
And you can be sure that I will do a HUGE post on that topic because I know that certain people look at this site.
I am clinging to the small hope that blossomed within me when Conrad Greene said that they were going to have to recalibrate the judges, back when the season was announced. In explanation, he said the judges were going to have to change their ideas of what constitutes a 9 or 10, given that we’re talking All Stars.
I know , it’s a slim hope, very, very slim.
Okay, let’s see, sheery. First, the Sabrina fans were SURE that Mark and Sabrina would be paired. They weren’t. He was paired with Bristol and she had to be voted in.
Then the Sabrina fans were SURE that even though he was already paired with Bristol, if she won the vote they would make a switch – they claimed insider info. They were wrong, again (of course, as nearly everyone here said they would be).
Now, they are saying that everyone will switch partners for a week – which, coincidentally (NOT) was something that was being discussed by Derek and a few others LAST season – and they are saying it’s a leak?? This is called throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks – eventually, they will be right about something, but I don’t think I will hold my breath for that.
Face it – these people are NUTS.
Well, I’m itching to write a big, nasty article about the judges so I’m torn.
Conrad knows this site and has said that we’re often right about what we say – wonder if he would think that after THAT article. 
I don’t see how they can possible follow their usual style of grading each couple on their improvement to the point that Bristol and Gilles get the same scores. Does ANYONE believe that Bristol is worthy of the same scores as Gilles?? Yet it has happened in the past.
I’m for sure hoping that the judges get “recalibrated”, and I’m thinking the right tool for the recalibration is a 9-iron…
I agree with the Princess – since TPTB have managed to put together an all-star season, with 6 winners, it might be time to… oh, I don’t know….. LET. THEM. DANCE! Stop with all of the B.S. 3 Stooges crap, and the story-boarding, and the arc-of-redemption pee-pee-caca, and let ‘em Foxtrot. And Waltz. And Jive. I, for one, would find it incredibly refreshing and entertaining to see judges that actually hand out consistent scores, based on the dance we see on the floor. I’m like Evaine; I’m hanging onto a small glimmer of hope.
Go for it Heidi. I’d love it. And yeah, I’d think no one would trust what the fans of Sabrina are reporting by now.

The only way I can see Sabrina dance with Mark again is if mark and bristol is eliminated and Sabrina and Louis make it to week 7 (which is unlikely) and they bring back the trio dance but I do know if they will do that again or not especially on the all star season

If they decide to calibrate on improvemnt, then they can say with any little effort,”Bristol has really learned alt and they can say about Shawn(who did quite well technically from the beg,, well Shawn seems to have remained the same, an 8 for bristol, a 7 for Shawn” Well, you can’t get much better than perfect and Shawn, Giles and Drew all did pretty well from day 1 with elements judges typically look at. They executed the steps well, connected to the music and audience and their presentation was good. So, if they pull that trick and underscore them awhile, it will give the rest a chance to hang longer and possibly risk some of the front runners early, unless fanbases and audience just supports from the beginning.
One would assume, since the point of this season is supposed to be who is the best of the All-Stars, that they would simply judge who does the damn dance the best AT THAT MOMENT. After all,the viewing audience will cover everything else…favoritism, bias,and the ” I’m gonna vote for Kirstie just cause she lost weight, and I’m not votin for Bristol becauseyadda,yadda”types. Would it be too much to ask for the judges just to judge dancing. Probably too much, I’m not holdin’ my breath.
Yeah,PH, for this type of much anticipated season that ppl are really gonna be pissed if they manipulate, if you have somebody’s ear….bend it!!

Oh boy.. Where do I start? I will start with something positive.
Sabrina looks cute and I love her smile. Now onto the negative, Does anyone think Louis resembles the cartoon character Jimmy Neutron?
I think Louis and Sabrina are going to be a huge pain in the neck this season. Their opening packages before their dances will more than likely be excruciatling painful to watch. These two will probably get old by week 3 and that’s being generous. Mute button to the rescue!
guys, you’re right about the judges’ scores. they need to stop overscoring and underscoring. sometimes, i think they will score everyone correctly, because this is all star season. i mean if they overscore bristol, emmitt, pamela and underscore apolo, kirstie, shawn, marini… there will be huge reaction from the fans of underscored celebrities because they are popular, they have so much fans. and i don’t think the judges(or the producers) want that.
but of course that’s what i thought for season 14 and i was wrong. oh, how can i forget the great overscoring of maria? the girl didn’t deserve one 10 and how many times she got, ten times? and donald was underscored almost every week. so yeah, i don’t have high expectations for season 15. i better be ready for some massive overscoring of certain celebrities… or pros.
Is anyone surprised that Sabrina won the popular vote? Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with this site. I wouldn’t have thought that many people were interested in Sabrina. She was many seasons ago and seemed “famous” for being a shocking elimination. Carson and Kyle were recent and were great personalities. Maybe the votes were split. I think it’d be embarrassing if she got another “shocking” elimination. Actually, I think that would be funny

Sunflower, I was shocked Sabrina won the wildcard too. I thought for sure Carson would win as popular as he’s been.
Thanks for the response, Vogue. I wasn’t particularly excited for this all star season, but we have an interesting cast and a lot of good dancers. I thought I’d hate Bristol coming back, but what are haters without Bristol or vice versa
I agree with all who think that the allstar format puts much more pressure on the judges to judge solely on the dancing they see in front of them, without regard to the celeb’s former glory or popularity, storyboarding, or their own hormones. And yes, they’ll need to be much more consistent with same standards for all, as well, to avoid looking like morons. (not that such a consideration has stopped them in the past.)
I think Len is quite capable of judging only the dance, and being more consistent, if he chooses to. The other 2, not so much. It might help Bruno and CAI a lot if they’d prep for the season by reading Court’s Great Previous Dance Experience entry on each celeb before Sept 24.
Speaking of the judges – Perhaps they should have a little more time to come up with a score. They did mention on the 20/20 special that it was difficult to score in a split second. In this day of computers, why is Carrie Ann handing a sheet of paper to the crew? Why do they need to have the graphic of the judges names and scores below the actual picture of the judges with their paddles? Someone could add the score and tell Brooke in her earpiece what the total is. Let the judges “digest” what they have seen. Last year Bruno and Carrie Ann scored at the peak of their highest hormone levels. After they have discussed their opinions with the couple, they might come up with more accurate scoring. And have we ever figured out if the judges are at the rehearsals?
As for Len being quite capable, he needs to not have a pre-conceived notion of the dance. Maria and Derek’s “American Smooth” Viennese Waltz was not to his liking because he likes the traditional VW. But, both are legitimate styles of VW and Derek chose to do an American Smooth. Len should judge the dance, not his preference for style. He let his personal opinion get in the way of judging the dance.
And I believe that American Smooth is the version that the US version of DWTS goes with, so Len was way out of line on his comments on Maria’s VW. But no surprise there. As for the digesting the dance versus a knee jerk score?? Well, both have their pros and cons. If they think about it too much, there’s no guarantee they will do better, in any case.
linz, i think len gave them an 8 not because he prefers traditional vw but because there wasn’t enough content, the dance wasn’t great and he said “shes much better in hold”, which i think is a polite way of saying you didnt dance perfectly. oh well, when did she anyway?
but i agree with you about something. yes, the judges should judge the dance, not the preference for style. i really hate it when bruno and carrie ann overscore a dances just because its sultry(some dances of william and probably any naked and “good at shaking” female contestant) or there are some cool tricks in it(lil kim’s jive). and len underscores just because the guy is shirtless(katherine and marks rumba)… just weird. and sometimes all of them overscore certain contestants(maria, rob kardashian), i have no idea why.
Nah, Hawk, if Len didn’t think there was enough content, he would say so. There was plenty of content for a VW and she danced it very well. It was one of her better dances, actually.

ok, it was one of her better dances, but still didn’t deserved more than 8. im not saying it was bad, i just think it didn’t deserve 10s. of course, remembering her disastrous a.tango, samba and jive, vw definitely wasnt her worst(or most overscored) dance…
