DWTS Kym Johnson Says Everyone Is Going To Be Incredible, Hopes To Beat Apolo Ohno
At the premiere of “The Words” in Hollywood, People caught up with Kym Johnson and asked her about the new season of Dancing With The Stars. She remarks how she and partner Joey Fatone want to beat Apolo Ohno the most being he beat them in Season 4. She also said everyone is going to be incredible. “Everyone is going to be incredible,” says the Australian dancer. “It could be anyone’s [to win] and anyone could go home first. It’s going to be an unpredictable season.”
However, Johnson isn’t letting the fierce competition get to her. For now, she’s just focused on making it to the second night of competition.
“It’s going to be an intense season, but we’re definitely enjoying it,” said the Dancing pro. “We just don’t want to get kicked off first, and then we’ll take it week by week.”
Kym also chatted with On The Red Carpet. She loves having Joey again. She says everyone is having a ball at rehearsals so far, but, the pressure is more intense since everyone has danced before. Who’s rooting for Joey and Kym?

I don’t think anyone wants to be booted off! On a normal season, it’s just kind of embarrassing. This season, that embarrassment is magnified by like…230984923. Which also makes me think that the competitive spirit of this season is more about bragging rights. A kind of…odd way of looking at it I know, but it’s just a thought/opinion of mine.
I dunno, the embarrassment of being eliminated this season should actually be lower – it’s easier to get beaten by the BEST than it is to get beaten by, say, Bristol Palin. Oh…wait…that could happen.
Let’s hope not.
You know, the only way to get rid of Bristol is to vote A LOT for someone else. Just sayin’.

These two crack me up – great chemistry, and I think Joey can make the final 3, if not go all the way this time.
I would say, for me, there’s zip chance I’ll be voting for Bristol with the caliber of this cast – it’s going to be hard enough to decide how to distribute my votes without having to take Team Ballin into account. I still can’t believe they came in third in her season!
Now watch her come out and freakin’ nail her Cha Cha Cha on the 24th, busting out on the floor awash with personality and hot feet. LOL, wouldn’t that just show me!
I can’t shake the feeling that Sabrina will be the first to go! Don’t ask me why ….. I just have a funny feeling (…. could, of course, be the taco I had for lunch, too, so don’t hold me to that LOL)
LOL Linde, I’ve had those same feelings on Bristol too. Right now I’m surprisingly not annoyed with her as much as I am with Sabrina. Weird. I need my temperature taken.

Of course, if she comes out Week 1 all “dancin’ queen”, I’ll tip my hat to her. Won’t vote for her, but I’m mature enough to give credit where it’s due.
Vogue, you’re probably not annoyed with Bristol right now because she hasn’t really said or done anything objectionable lately (at least not that I’ve noticed). Don’t count on that lasting as we get closer to the premiere.
