Bruno Tonioli Interviewed On New Book and Dancing With The Stars In The UK and US

Bruno Tonioli has written a new autobiography called “Bruno: My Story”. In the book, Bruno writes all about his life, career, and doing both Dancing With The Stars shows in the UK and the US. Doing some promo work for the book, below is a take from a new interview with The Sun on how Bruno started dancing.

“When it came to the stylish and graceful art of ballroom dancing, my dad was a king of the clubs, a prowling tiger and a wonderfully natural mover,” Bruno recalls.

“He was besotted with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. On a Saturday night he would take my mother dancing and when I was older I would accompany them, watching as they glided around the floor.

“Later, as I learned to dance myself, I’d stand on my mother’s feet as she taught me the steps that made up the jive and the cha cha cha.”

You can read lots more at The Sun including Bruno’s thoughts on what Los Angeles is like and trying drugs once. There are some fantastic shots of him too from his youth. Great interview!
