Lupus Event, Heads Up On TV Appearances For Week Leading Up To DWTS All Star Premiere

Speaking of…and just a heads up! According to an ABC press release, Karina Smirnoff and partner Apolo Ohno will be on The View next week. Below are more details on the show….
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 – Sherri and Elisabeth’s “Reality Show Roundup,” featuring weekly dish on all the outrageous drama and antics of television’s most popular reality shows; Dr. Mehmet Oz (“Dr. Oz”); actress Cloris Leachman; “Dancing with the Stars” Season Four champion Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff, his partner for the upcoming “All-Star” season.
Watch this space. If we find out on more TV appearances will be sure to let you know as this next week we might see a big push for the show being it’s about to premiere.

Weekend or Monday: Kelly Monaco and Kym & Joey will be on Access Hollywood (we assume from some interviews posted over the weekend).
Tuesday: Co-host Brooke Burke is scheduled to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 18th to talk about the Emmy’s. Cheryl Burke abnd Emmitt Smith’s appearance on The Chew will also be aired on Tuesday.
Thursday: Not only will Karina and Apolo be on The View, host Tom Bergeron will be on Anderson Cooper Daytime talk show. Note how Maria Menounos will be co-hosting.
Friday: According to @DWTSGossip, Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff will be on the Wendy Williams Show on Friday. Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovaloni will be on on Access Hollywood on Friday as well.

All three of them look great! Love, love, LOVE Kym’s outfit! The print is great, the skirt length accentuates her height, and it’s just the right mix of elegance & flirty (with the top).
Gilles and Karina would have been my dream team. I’m really happy with Apolo though. Also, love Kym’s skirt and Karina’s dress – that color really pops.

While I think all three of them have great partners, the only thought I had upon seeing that photo was confirmation that Gilles should have been put with Karina. I think they look totally amazing together.
He and Karina would have made a beautiful dance couple. He has delicate bone structure and a narrow frame. Peta is too much for him. Her shoulders are too big in relationship to him. Same when Peta danced with Derek. Her shoulders were really just to wide for Derek and although they did the steps well, it wasn’t an aesthetically-pleasing pairing in my opinion.
As much as it pains me to say this now because I find Gilles’ personality a turn off, I agree that physically he and Karina would have been a smoking couple. I presume the producers already knew this and didn’t pair them to even out playing field a bit more. I think he becomes a little more of a long shot with Peta as a partner.
