Cheryl Burke And Emmitt Smith Talk Of Dancing With The Stars, The Judges, and More
Emmitt Smith told WFAA Good Morning Texas that he and Cheryl have been working hard for the last several weeks getting ready for Dancing With The Stars. They are ‘pretty’ ready for their first dance with just some finishing touches to add and fix. Cheryl says the show isn’t the same when they danced the first time, so they are stepping up their game. I have a strong feeling that this is the team to beat. Just looked back on youtube and Emmitt is extremely smooth and so adorable on the dance floor.He is so light on his feet. I thought Apolo is strong, but looking back, he’s a very awkward looking dancer and only his cute partnership with Julianne that got him the trophy. Apolo and even Joey Fatone is lacking the hip action and smooth moves of Emmitt. And those smiles is a killer and magnetic.Great to hear them stepping up the choreography, but hoping not too technical that may take away Emmitt’s charm and personality.Technical dancers are boring to watch.
I was going for Gilles originally, but he is trying way a little too hard it looks like and is kind of desperate to win. Reading his tweets and feels like he is getting too over confident and annoying to read his tweets always telling how he is going “to kick ass”. Very different from Emmitt’s inspiring and very humble tweets.
These two both have that competitive fire and are very capable. Neat seeing them back together.

I just went to see the videos on utube n I gotta say, I never realized how smooth n light Emmitt was. If Cheryl can let E’s fancy feet groove the way it did in their season n his charisma to go with it…I like his chances more than the other guys. He makes u smile, and never seen crowds go crazy n wild like they did to Emmitt. Only saw that reactions from William last season n some to Kelly O.

First let me say that his wife is so gorgeous, smart, and generous. Great job Emmitt!
I’m really excited about this couple. They had such a great vibe together in season 3 and they always looked like they were having a blast. To me they are one of the few couples that truly represented what the show was about. It’s a fun experience for celebs to come out of their element and learn how to dance. This season there is a lot of competition so I’m hoping they do really well.
