PureDWTS Sabrina Bryan “Obsessed” With Her New Song And More

At Hollywood Life, Sabrina Bryan writes in detail of what she experienced “behind the scenes” of Dancing With The Stars Monday night. With every word, you can tell how excited she was. She and Louis gave the couples one word descriptions after each of them danced and they call themselves the “Dazzling Dynamo and the Dancing Dutchman”. Below is more for how Sabrina felt when the eliminated couple was announced. She also talks some on their next dance.

When they called Louis and me to the stage to find out our results, I was so nervous. Standing up there with Cheryl & Emmett and Gilles & Peta Murgatroyd, there was what Tom called “unintentional drama.” When Tom said “you are ALL safe” we didn’t realize he hadn’t said our names! It was hard to go from jumping up and down from joy and then go back to waiting for our fate. When Brooke told us we were safe, I was able to breath again. In the end, Pam and Tristan MacManus were the ones to go home, and we are all going to miss them very much. It just goes to show that you can dance your best every Monday night, and sadly, you can still be eliminated!

So, the Dazzling Dynamo and the Dancing Dutchman will be back next week, dancing the Quickstep! I’m what some might call “obsessed” with my song we get to dance to, since it’s one of my all-time favorites! These superheroes are heading back to the studio to conquer another dance – but I can’t leave without one final thank you to everyone who voted for us this week! We’re going to give you an amazing Quickstep in thanks!

Lots more at Hollywood Life including a really cute drawing!!

Dancing With The Stars Gilles Marini Writes On First Dance And His New Injuries

Gilles Marini writes how he had forgotten how thrilling it is to dance in front of a live audience when he danced on Monday night. He also writes of suffering from some new injuries. Let’s hope they get well soon. According to his twitter and facebook account, the doctor has given him the “ok”. Also, today he practiced his new dance 20 times and he says it’s going to be “fantastic” and “all good”.

It can’t explain how amazing the energy was on Monday night. I forgot how thrilling it is to dance in front of a live audience. Peta and I worked really hard on our dance and even though I was excited to perform I was also nervous. I had a few set back during rehearsals. I tore my hamstring and a joint in my lower back and I wasn’t sure if they would affect my performance, but I pushed on and realized nothing can stop me once I am on that dance floor.

Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus were on The View today!! It’s good to see Pam again and in better spirits. I love Pam. I forgive her for not showing up for some of the interviews now. She may be getting her wish for doing Broadway soon too. Also, check out Tristan’s hair. I LIKE! What do you think?

Dancing with the Stars Season 15 Stats Class: Week 1’s Elimination – Pamela Anderson

The first eliminated couple of the season: Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus

But really was this a surprise? Taking a look at some of the past data and Back in June, we asked you the reader to choose your favorite celebrities across the seasons and I had recently posted the results of the popularity polls of celebrities taken from your favorites. On this list it did not appear that Pamela was in the Top 20 of the female celebrities… so already just from those summer polls alone there were signs that Pamela probably wouldn’t have the popularity vote by her side.

She was given the lowest score of the night on Monday… and even my elimination predictions have her not just towards the bottom of the list… but in last place as well. The Week 1 Score Predictions had her scored second the last ranking just above Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy (who scored far higher on Monday night).

So yeah, she didn’t really have a lot going for her here no matter how you look at it.

So enough with what happened during Week 1… let’s look back with her time prior to Season 15. How did she fare and did she even stand a chance? Well hard to say. So what I did was go back in time and looked at her actual scores during her time on Season 10 and compared it with how her score predictions would have looked prior to Season 10. Then for the hell of it I also added the scores predicted for Season 15 using the same dances from Season 10… and let’s say the results were fascinating…

First the table:

Looking at the numbers alone she was all over the spectrum. There were some dances she scored higher than… while others she scores below… and still others right on par. But if we were to take the average score from the predicted scores of Season 10 vs the actual scores…
Season 10 Average Prediction: 21.708
Season 10 Average Actual: 22.286

Almost a whole half-point difference. Which sometimes doesn’t seem like a lot, but in the world of stats and mathematics is a hell of a whole lot.

So how does this look like on a graph?

Her actual scores from Season 10 appear to be all over the spectrum when compared to the Season 10 predicted scores… while when compared with the Season 15 predictions are a little more in line…

Interesting.

Now I wouldn’t go so far as to say whether she was over or under scores in any capacity mainly because I have to rewatch the episodes to know that… but I am kind of curious to see how the other celebrities stack up in hindsight when comparing their actual scores with the various predictions.

My life can be summed up in the following two quotes: 1) "I am married to engineering and am its faithful wife by day, but at night my wanderlust takes hold and the arts becomes my jealous paramour." and... 2) "Engineering is my safety net. Writing is my passion. Acting is my escape when the other two become too much." So where does dancing fit in? Pretty much anywhere at this point... =)

Carrie Anne Inaba Breaks Down Dancing With The Stars Premiere Night (Blog, Videos)

Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Anne Inaba talked about breaking off of her engagement on Access Hollywood. She also breaks down some of the dances from the first week of the show. She was sad to see Pamela go and thinks she’s “magical”. She was a little underwhelmed by Helio and Apolo’s performances, but, she thinks they can make some great transformations. Much more below…though warning, Kit and Billy ask some annoying questions. I sometimes wonder if they even watch the show and instead just play off media headlines? 😕

Carrie Anne was also on Extra last night. If we find some footage, we’ll be sure to post it. She breaks down the first show at her new blog at Ladies Home Journal as well. Below is a take of her favorite moments from Monday night…

Here are some of my personal favorite moments from the season 15 opener:
•When Tom cut me off mid-comment because the audio went out I had to explain that I had more to say so our audience wouldn’t be confused. He just won an Emmy so I’ll give him a break.
•When Helio Castroneves came into the ballroom during the commercial break, he got a standing ovation. He’s got such a bright light in him—he’s like a walking smile and it was so wonderful to see him out there again on our dance floor.
•When Shawn Johnson danced a very modern Foxtrot with Derek. It’s a new partnership but a very dynamic one.
•When Gilles did his Foxtrot with Peta. Again, another new pairing and a very sexy one indeed—just ask any of the women in our audience. He’s like a dancing Jon Hamm or Clark Gable.
•Seeing Drew Lachey and Kelly Monaco again was a lot of fun. I directed the first Dancing With The Stars live tour so I worked closely with Drew. It’s like seeing your family again, except you have to judge their dancing.
•It’s always something of a magical moment to see Pamela Anderson on the dance floor. She really is an icon. I hope she puts more time into her rehearsals. It think a lot of people like her but she’s got to catch up.
•And then there was Emmitt. It felt like the season finale—a huge celebration of dance.

When you watch them all dance you remember very quickly why some of them won and the magic they all brought to the dance floor. But they do have very different styles and attributes which is what makes this season so dynamic. And let me say that without a doubt, it’s going to get very competitive in the ballroom very soon, so be warned! This season is going to be a good one!
