DWTS15 Mark Ballas Gives A Preview For Upcoming Quickstep With Bristol Palin (Videos, Blog)
Oh, I am not sure I am ready for this Quickstep. It sounds like it’s going to be way out there and I am probably not going to like if it’s Country Western? 
We’ll see. I will try to keep an open mind. HELP! lol Anyway, here is Mark on he and Bristol Palin’s next dance in his new blog. Let us know what you think.
Our next dance is the quickstep, which promises to be a lot of fun because it’s not exactly conventional. At this stage, I’ll do whatever it takes to get Bristol to exude confidence and personality.
This week we are dancing to her favorite song. It’s been a bit of a challenge for me because I’ve never danced quickstep to this genre of music, but I’ve never seen her so excited and enthusiastic about dancing. She is loving it and that’s all that matters!
We also did something extra special this week to help get into the spirit of the dance and it was a blast. .. Put it this way: I hit the bull’s-eye quite often, and did it in true Houston fashion!

Can’t wait to hear grumpy Len’s take on this one. If he praises it after unloading on Shawn and Derek for their unconventional Foxtrot, I’ll have a hissy fit.
You beat me to it Cidra – I heard the same thing that it is country music and Mark has said he is not a fan of country. Isn’t it be Gretchen Wilson. I heard the song and not liking it.
Len is definitely going to go nuts about it if it is unconventional. Interesting to see what comments he comes up with.
I love the approach Mark is taking. When the celeb is having a good time and really likes the song and routine, it shows. He’s doing whatever he can do to make this a fun, growing experience for her. Good for him. While Bristol isn’t my favorite pairing for Mark, dance-ability wise, I do like how gentle and easygoing he is with her. I’m kind of intrigued to see how he choreographs this song.
Here’s the thing….if let’s say they “wouldn’t mind ” Bristol around a bit longer (ratings perhaps), then they might go the way of saying you took risks,more personality, you owned the dance,blah blah blah….throw her 6.5s or 7s and the fans pull their weight…sigh.
Sounds like they went skeet shooting lol.
You’ve just predicted exactly what Len will do, Cidra. Much like Marky got praise from Len for the Monkey suit after Derek and Maks both got shit for messin’ about.
They can’t really do that again without looking totally stupid (what am I saying!!) because their audience isn’t that stupid. They’re going to catch on.
