Ellen Degeneres Has Special Surprise For Derek Hough And Shawn Johnson
In case you didn’t get to see Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson on the Ellen Show yesterday, below is some coverage from Ellen’s site. Shawn runs through why she decided to retire from Olympic competition. Then Ellen asks Derek about his recent adoption of his dog Romney (OOps, sorry, I mean Romey! loll). Watching Derek’s face light up and hearing their story is touching as ever. Ellen also asks them about their height differences and Dancing With The Stars. Fun interview. Derek has great comedic timing. He’s so handsome. I’m really enjoying he & Shawn’s partnership. She keeps up with him, that’s amazing in itself. They’re Quickstep will be FANTASTIC!

I’m so disappointed with the lopsided juding. I used to be a Gilles fan but his ego is too much to take. Shawn & Derek did great with their Rhumba and Len said “no hip action”, did he look at Gilles? Where was his hip action? The team dance on Tuesday was so sloppy that I would say it was the worst team dance of any season, certainly not the level you would expect of All Stars. Apolo & Karina did a really fine job Tuesday night and just because they are not all over each other (like Kelly & Val) doesn’t mean they are not a good match. Oh well it is reality TV and that is the main reason I preferr reading. Phyllis
