I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

Pure Dancing with the Stars Sponsors
The first time Shawn Johnson was on DWTS I was never impressed. I was a Gilles fan and used my votes for him. No more!!!! To me he is coming across as too full of himself and Shawn has matured into a lovely young lady. With Derek as a partner they are amazing. I truly believe Derek is the best male dancer ever. He is great at writing dances that bring out all his partners good points. They are so entertaining to watch I find I’m always smiling when they dance. I danced for over 25 years so I know good when I see it. That Ballywood routine was a joke. Anyone who knows Ballywood knows that was not what Gilles was doing. I looked forward to this “All-Star” season but it is kind of a disappointment, the judges, whom I usually agree with, seem to be seeing different dances than we are. Oh well, that is reality TV, which is why I spend most of my time reading.
