Bruno Tonioli & Len Goodman Get Their Tango On in Strictly Come Dancing Promo

TGIF!!! It’s t minus 1 hour till the weekend on the east coast, and what better way to celebrate than with this kind of awesome promo for the latest season Strictly Come Dancing, DWTS’s cousin from across the pond?

It doesn’t get much better than Bruno & Len (and fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood) taking judge Darcey Bussell for a spin around the dance floor to some Bowie I must say, Len still impresses, even years after competing himself – dude still has great lines. Bruno wasn’t too shabby, either…although I would say the bulk of his appeal was the drama with which he carried off the steps. Just one question: when do we get to see Carrie Ann establish some street cred like this?

It’s funny cause almost every female judge on these kinds of shows had at some point stepped out of their chairs and danced. Except Carrie Ann. Wonder if she would be able to embrace some “Mary Murphy” moves on DWTS someday.

Also, a good video is one from Strictly’s tour last year, with Craig and Bruno doing some tango. Hilarious.

I love this promo, though. Very unusual to bring the focus on the judges. Thank you, Marianya.

Aww, that was cute! They should have Len, Bruno & Carrie Ann do a commercial like this one for for DWTS!! Len is quite good and Bruno not bad either.

Fabulous video! Len has beautiful lines,Bruno is a hoot and Darcy Bussell is an amazing ballet dancer, I loved her twirl. Classy, fun video. Brun0 & Len shoud do it for DWTS as well, but could CAI pull it off?

Would love to see Len, Bruno and Carrie Ann do individual routines on a Tuesday like Tom and Samantha did. Would be much more entertaining than the typical promotional tie-in talent on Results night, IMHO. And with some pros likely leaving the show, do that New Pro Challenge once more. It was a great feature, but, again, no tie-in points for ABC.

A fun fact:
This saturday the Mick Jagger ex-wife Jerry Hall danced a quickstep to Mrs Robinson in the SCD Hollywood week (Same song Kirstie will performe next week on DwtS).

@Carlos (#11) Craig on DWTS might be a disaster. He’s (from what I’ve gathered watching on YouTube) one of the less favorable judges. Though…I guess with how harsh the man is he could keep Carrie Ann & Bruno from giving vagina votes. lol
