ET Online interviewed Val Chmerkovskiy and Kelly Monaco on their Dancing With The Stars post finale thoughts. Val reflects back and said he expected to get Bristol Palin for a partner which he would have been happy with. He’s thankful for getting Kelly instead and he did what he was asked. Kelly says they had so much fun and have formed an amazing friendship together. They also talk of Val’s upcoming role on General Hospital too at the end. Nice interview. More in detail below….

I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Judging by the preview of Val’s scene that was floating around, I would say no (not good as an actor). You can tell he’s acting – it didn’t seem in any way real.

Well even if it’s not good, and it may turn out fine, he’s new at it and it takes time. At least he has the guts to put himself out there. I think it’s something he could eventually be quite good at. It’s a start.

Well for all intense and purposes, he was given a cameo to be shown in a cheeky scene with Kelly Tv Mom…how can we really tell what his potential is???

I will say this, from what the producers saw they liked, and he must have potential if they are willing and wanting him to come back to do more…so me thinks things are looking good so far for Mr. Val
