DWTS16 Jacoby Jones Says Dorothy Hamill Is A Big Fan, Lots Of Chemistry With Karina Smirnoff

I love the part when Jacoby talks of fellow competitor Dorothy Hamill and how she greeted him when they first met up. Too cute! He also talks of Karina Smirnoff and their immediate chemistry. I’ve gone from being excited Karina finally has a football player to being a bit concerned. He’s been doing a lot of trash talking (not here, but in other venues),which works in the NFL but not with DWTS fans. But he hasn’t seemed to be doing any actual dance rehearsals. He went right back to Baltimore after the reveal. I get the feeling he thinks dancing is easy and he doesn’t have to work hard to win.
Hope Karina smacks some sense into him when they do finally rehearse. She needs to make sure he understands it’s as much a popularity contest as a dance contest and he can’t alienate viewers with his attitude. Still hoping he will adjust once they start rehearsing.
I love Karina and hope she’s there til the end so agree with your concerns of him coming off as arrogant. But he may be practicing lots with Karina in Baltimore. Aren’t Mark and Aly in MA, Derek and Kellie in Nashville? And I think Tony and Wynonna are as well.
Oh, boy…. arrogant much? I think I see Ochocinco 2.0 coming on…

My thoughts exactly, my first reaction, and second, is what a jerk Jacoby is! I don’t like him at all. Karina better straighten him up or they are toast.

I don’t think Jacoby is really arrogant, but he sure comes off that way in this venue. If he wasn’t partnered with Karina, I’d be ready to wave “buh-bye” to him right now; but I love Karina. Hope she can educate his a$$ on how to win friends and influence voters on DWTS. If she can’t and he really is Ochochinco 2.0, then I want him gone sooner rather than later.
It would be a disappointment if he turned into Ocho 2.0 but I’m sure Karina will kick his butt into shape!
I hope he can bring it! I was disappointed with Apolo’s attitude….it was fine up to week 6 or the V. Waltz, but he started showing short-tempered manner and easy frustration with the fusion dance…it turned voters off and they went to Melissa & Shawn…so they said.
Karina posted interesting fb post about “a storm” she dealt with a couple years ago, but now it’s come full circle and she feels blessed and is happy. So glad she is in a good place in her life….it shows.
I just saw the two of them on a later video than this one so I guess she has whipped Jacoby into shape. I loved her with Apollo and my votes always went to Apollo/Karina and Shawn/Derek until Apollo and Karina were eliminated and then all my votes went for Shawn/Derek. IMO I was not thrilled with what they called the All Star season, because it should have been truly all All Stars and then maybe a season of those that did not win, but came in top 3 or something like that. JMO, but I thought the judges scoring of both Shawn and Apollo were underscored compared to others and saw so many comments that Tony had never won so they were voting based on that reason (not here), but that was last season and now I am ready for this season to start. Looking forward to next Monday when we finally get to see this season start.
