D.L. Hughley starts off this interview with Access Hollywood saying he never watched Dancing With The Stars because he can’t dance, but, he’s happy to have Cheryl to teach him. Cheryl says D.L.’s hips are shy, but, she is working on “unleashing the beast”. More in detail below…..
I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. He says that in some ways, everyone dances and it's so true. To TPTB, how about Sam Palladio's "Fade Into You" (this version sung by WilUnleashed) for a V. Waltz?

Sigh…the more I listen this guy, the less I like him. In the interview he said that a)if a grown man can touch his toes, there’s clearly something wrong with him, and b)if a grown man dances much, there’s something wrong with him as well. If that’s the way you feel, why are you on the show??
Can’t say I completely disagree with you, #Anon – the more I see the less I like. There’s something off with this team, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Sometimes the comedians spout off some stupid stuff because they feel the need to be funny, I guess. Or maybe his insecurities showing? I’m not liking Cheryl a whole lot this season either. I don’t know if she’s pi$$ed because she didn’t get Jacoby, or – as I suspect – she’s way overdue for a break and maybe mad that her other plans didn’t pan out. She’s burnt to a crisp, IMHO, and it shows (once again).
All I can say …. I’m just not feeling it with this team.
Well I for one like DL! He’s a wonderful comedian, and I believe He and Cheryl will have a good season.
Cheryl used to be so adorable. I miss that Cheryl and I feel sort of sorry for DL, wonder what he’d be like if he had the equivalent of a partner like Tristan. Or look how nurturing and positive Sharna is being with Andy, if anyone had ammunition for crude “humor” it would be her.
