Mark Ballas and Aly Raisman were on Access Hollywood today!! Aly talks of the hardest parts of dancing so far….the shoes hurting her feet for one and her gymnastic training getting in the way for another, but, they are excited to dance on Monday. I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. I had to LOL, Billy the One Trick Pony strikes again. As soon as Aly said Mark gave her a footrub, “how old are you?”

Fascinating, the pros understanding of contemporary – Mark said that contemporary had been added this season, and “pretty much anything goes”. So any hope we have of the judges having *any* objective criteria is probably pretty small.
I love these two! I’ve always loved Aly but I’m so happy her personality is shining through.
Those two are so loud and quite obnoxious. Mark&Aly are unfazed by it so good for them.
Wow I didn’t see anything resembling loud and obnoxious. I saw courteous and unpretentious. What I found obnoxious was AH playing the long clip of Shawn and Derek’s tribal samba. How rude haha.
BTW off topic but I was surprised to find that Henry and a DWTS Audtralia choreographer originated the African samba theme they showed in Derek’s clip. Derek and Mark’s routine wasn’t all that original after all.
Billy would be happy if all the couples ended up hooking up I think…Uggghhh. Stupid.
I really like Aly, from watching her rehearsal picks she actually has a really fun personality. I think she may just get a little camera shy sometimes which is normal. But I think i’m gonna end up really likeing her even if Mark bugs me. 
@Katarina, wow – I didn’t think I’d ever hear anyone refer to Billy and Kit as “courteous and unpretentious”. Although I enjoyed the Shawn/Derek clip, I did feel it was in dubious taste to use it as part of another couple’s interview. However, since it was AH, I wasn’t surprised.
Maybe they were going for a piece of Shawn’s freestyle that had Aly in it, since she *was* part of the routine – and just really mistimed the clip…
@Butterfly, Could be. I guess all the shows are staffed by Muppets.
Didn’t the clip also include Mark, Cidra?? They most likely used it because, unfortunately for Aly, she’s an Olympian “just like Shawn”. So, you’ve got Mark and Shawn in the dance and that is going to be compared to Mark and Aly. Heaven help her if she’s not a tremendous dancer. Then again, since she doesn’t have Derek, she isn’t likely to get hosed.

such an awkward interview with billy asking questions. Nancy O’Dell definatley did the right thing moving to ET but it might just be me but i feel Nancy was able to keep Billy under control where the current sidekick can not. Its like enough about the shomance questions already and ask the questions fans want to hear.
@PH, Sorry, I should have been more clear in my response to Katarina; but it was such a CF on AH’s part that I was more focused on that. Billy & Kit fumbled the intro, the Muppets rushed into the clip, and the director cut to it just in time to see the Fierce Five fade into the background. So instead of focusing on Aly, they were watching Shawn and Derek showing everyone how awesome they were last season *awkward* on several levels, in my opinion. Oh well, everyone will survive.
