Andy Dick And Sharna Burgess Talk About Dancing With The Stars On Anderson Cooper
Today Sharna Burgess and Andy Dick were Anderson Cooper’s guests on his daytime show. Snooki was Anderson’s co-host. She thought Andy was amazing last night for his first dance. She likes him because he is the under dog. They also talked of the meltdown that the producers showed in his package and why he had it. There was so much pressure and he wanted to be more than a dark horse, but, he feels so much better after dancing last night.
Go get em, Andy and Sharna. You can do this!!
While Im all for people bettering themselves and cleaning up their life… I still cant like this guy. The sexual battery charges and anti-semetic rants are kind of hard to get over.
I never heard of Andy before he joined the cast. Personally, I really don’t care about the things he said or did in the past. EVERYONE says and does things they later regret. I could tell he and Sharna worked long and hard on that first dance and I think their dancing efforts should be rewarded! I hope at this point DL goes home next week, but I’m sure Cheryl will be cracking the whip as hard as she can so they can look better for next weeks dance.
Well said Blonde!
Thanks, Vogue. I’d just hate to see someone giving their best to the show only to be deprived a chance because of their past mistakes. It’s not right and it’s very hard to take.
Couldn’t agree more. None of us are perfect and have things we have to learn from, etc.
It’s sad how some people have to judge and hold grudges when someone is trying to change and better themselves.
@Vogue and blonde – Absolutely.
We all have had someone near and dear to us that may have taken a wrong path of some kind. We can only hope that they have the strength to turn their life around before it’s too late.
Andy and Sharna are one of my favorite couples this season. First impressions are everything on this show, and they did everything right on that pivital first night. They are just delightful. 🙂
+1
I hadn’t heard of Andy either before he was cast on the show, but everything I’ve seen of him in the preseason interviews and now on the show has endeared me to him and Sharna.
As Sandy said, we all know people have taken a seriously wrong path in life, and we *all* have done things that have hurt other people to one extent or another, and we’d all like to be given a second chance – so why shouldn’t we extend that to Andy, when he is clearly trying to change? I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone use DWTS to apologize to the people they’ve hurt before. What he’s doing is taking a lot of courage and strength, and I appreciate that.
Ack – meant endeared him and Sharna to me.
When I think of addict friends and relations and then consider what it would be like to have them recorded while on a rant or binge, it makes me want to get under a rock. Celebrity is a double-edged sword and Andy has to suffer the consequences of hurting himself and loved ones AND having himself replayed over and over online or on TV.
He deserves most of it but, I gotta say, when Brooke brought it up and “went there” while waiting for scores, I felt bad for the guy. And, you know people go out after the show and pound a few and I hope he stays away or holds hands with a sponsor…
I honestly don’t know what TPTB think Brooke brings to the show. She isn’t always up on her facts like a live tv host should be and she sticks her foot in her mouth much more than I believe most people would on tv. I know this would never happen, but I would love to see Ellen co-host the show, or someone with more charm and personality that can keep things lively when Tom isn’t commenting.
