Private Members Area – DWTS Season 17 Team Dance Discussion
The next episode of Dancing with the Stars Season 17 is in the books. What did you think of tonight’s show?
Tonight was team dance night. Were the teams fair to all of the dancers? What did you think of the elimination? I’ve heard some hoping for another technical issue that will keep the eliminated star on the show. I’d have to say this is one of the most unpredictable seasons for eliminations that I can remember. Is it because of the one night show format or is it something else?
I was so sad that Snooki left. In all honestly, I was prepared for Bill to go based on the 8 or 9 point difference between his score and Leah’s at the end but I did not expect Nicole to leave at all because she’s one of the most progressed stars of this season in terms of where she started and where she is now.
If you watch the group dance, Nicole and Bill were the two most interesting people that were there (and like Carrie-Ann said to Bill – that held the dance together)
Can Leah just leave next week? – I feel like I’m being a huge Leah hater BUT her time is over-extended.
Btw. I was laughing so hard at Karina and Corbin in their group dance when he was lifting her while she was making that crazy face.
First off, I will miss Nicole and Sasha in the ballroom. At first I wasn’t sure if Sasha was the right pick for a new pro position, but he was the Perfect choice to partner with Nicole. I had thought that they might have made it to the finals. Who knew?
I was surprised that I loved both of the Team Dances this season and I don’t think that has ever happened before. I didn’t like either of the Team Dance song choices but I think they both made it work for different reasons. And I have rewatched both of them already.
These judges this season are off their rockers. What happened to dancing technically great and garnishing that “elusive 10”. What is this Halloween? They are handing them out like candy. Heck, I think I could dance and get a “10” this season.
Peta dancing the jive in flats? Okie Dokie then.
I know Derek was injured and Amber has a sore knee, but that’s all we heard about in their package. Don’t get me wrong I am amazed at what Derek can do with this partners. And last nights Paso Doble was no exception, but we get it you guys are both hurt. I have watched their dance over as well. Sorry Heidi…
Now let’s get to Bill and Emma. He is the weakest dancer left in the competition and his QS was quite evident of that. But he sold it in his Team Dance. Should they make the finals? Will they make the finals? Um, I will say NO to both of those questions. But I intend to enjoy and support them until they do leave the ballroom.
I never liked Sasha when he was in the troupe. I found him cocky and arrogant. But I very much liked him during his first outing as a pro. He and Nicole were well paired.
I honestly thought Bill was going, although I had hopes it was Leah when they said someone on that team was going. Never thought it would be Nicole.
While I’m really happy for Bill, I’m very sad about Nicole leaving.
I can’t remember Jack’s dance other than I recall being surprised at his scores. Brant seems to be improving, and Peta is doing less of the sext em up thing the last couple of weeks.
I have no illusions that Bill will make the final but in order of next leaving, I’d like it to be first Leah, then Jack or Brant. No way, much as I might wish it, is Elizabeth going anywhere.
You do realize, right, that the packages are edited by the producers and are a few seconds of an entire week of practices? It’s not like they’re both constantly saying “I’m not a dancer” – they were both in actual pain.
