What a cool new “Ballroom With A Twist” interview with Anna Trebunskaya And Gleb Savchenko with NJ.com.. The two dancers along with Chelsie Hightower, Dmitry Chaplin, Oksana Dymetrenko, etc will be performing this weekend at Paper Mill Playhouse in Milburn, NJ. Be sure to see the show if you can. Read more below to see why….
“I think dancing is an artistic form of the Olympics,” Trebunskaya says. “It’s probably one of the most athletic sports. It’s graceful.”
Even the audience will be a part of the show.
Glen Savchenko competed on season 16 of “Dancing With the Stars,” alongside “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump.
“This is a live show,” Trebunskaya says. “Audience participation is a big factor. Be prepared to get up and shake your booty.”
“Dancing is a piece of art and by doing it, we dancers do a piece of work,” Savchenko adds. “When it all connects, it tells a story.”
Guests of the show can expect to be taken on a journey, he says.
“That’s the amazing part of dancing — you make people feel.”
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Meryl Davis, Sharna Burgess, Charlie White Rehearsal Interviews For DWTS18 Semi-Finals
Team.org interviewed Maks Chmerkovskiy & Meryl Davis and Sharna Burgess & Charlie White in rehearsals this week. Lot’s of dancing this time and a few hints for what’s to come. Check them out. Thanks to AC for the heads up! And just a reminder all: if you find news that we haven’t posted yet, please write to us our Contact Us link instead of posting it in comments. Yay, it’s official!! Dancing With The Stars has been renewed for another season!! Below is a take from the Hollywood Reporter.
ABC continued its wave of renewals Friday morning, officially announcing the pickup for The Middle and picking up its flagship reality competition series Dancing With the Stars for a 19th season.
Adopting a once-weekly format during the 2013-14 season, Dancing With the Stars’ ratings losses are still apparent — but have slowed. The two-hour Monday offering is averaging a solid 2.5 rating among adult 18-49 during its current cycle and has made efforts to freshen up the live telecast by bringing on alum Erin Andrews as Tom Bergeron’s new co-host and playing with voting.
Could Sharna Burgess and Charlie White have a Michael Jackson song for one of their dances for American Icons week? As you know from recent interviews, Sharna has mentioned being really excited about one of their songs. What’s more, her boyfriend/choreographer/dancer Paul Kirkland and another dancer named Ferrari Kid are helping them as you can see in a new instagram below that was captioned with “Just finished an amazing rehearsal with @charlieawhite @sharnaburgess @paulkirkland01 incorporating some #jookin to make the recipe complete!”. Note that both Paul Kirkland and Ferrari Kid helped to choreograph and danced in the recent Michael Jackson “I Heart Music Awards” production of “Love Never felt So Good“. Sure makes one go Hmmmm especially since Kenny Ortega is going to be a guest judge too….or do you think something else is up? NOTE: This is a prelude post too! Stay tuned! Courtney has a new Song Prediction/Wish List Post coming up a little later!! ;)
