Access Hollywood Interviews The Couples In Rehearsals For The Finals, Odd Tweet By Shirley Ballas

Check it out! Too fun! I love the ending teaser by Derek…

Also, Shirley Ballas tweeted that it’s been a tough day, but, she can’t say why. Here’s is more. Could something be wrong with Mark like Vin 2 posted in comments? Let’s hope not and all eyes on tomorrow night. Thanks to Lori for the heads up!!

Well tough day today. Can’t say why Dwts policy. But all tune in tomorrow for a great show and lots of surprises.I’m going for a brandy. Uggg

ETA: And an update from People. Mark was indeed hurt yesterday! Let’s hope he’s ok to dance tonight! Note that lastnight he also tweeted, “Hey y’all. I’m doing alright, thanks for the love.”

“Mark was seriously injured during camera blocking,” the spokesperson says. “His shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released. It’s unclear whether or not he’ll be able to perform on Monday’s show.”

The injury occurred at the CBS studio where Dancing is taped. Ballas and Bure were in the middle of a complex maneuver that involved Ballas lifting the actress onto his shoulders when the injury occurred.

Fellow pro dancers Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke were at the studio and rushed to Ballas’s side on the ballroom floor.

They encouraged him to sit out the Monday finale so that the injury would not get worse, but Ballas is insisting he wants to perform. As a precaution, another DWTS pro will learn the routines and be ready to step in for Ballas should he ultimately need to sit out Monday’s show.

TV Guide Makes DWTS Odds And Reviews The Couples Before The Finals

TV Guide gears us up for the Dancing With The Stars Season 18 finals by placing some odds and reviewing the couples strengths and weaknesses. They put Amy and Meryl neck and neck. Below is a take on Candace and Mark. Be sure to read the link for much more.

Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas
Strengths: Candace has made great strides since the start of the season, and is obviously willing to put in the effort required to be the best she can be (i.e. going to see a therapist to overcome her discomfort on the dance floor). Plus, her “I’m dancing for Jesus” approach means she’s got the Christian vote cornered.
Weaknesses: Candace and Mark have consistently found themselves the underdogs, having landed in jeopardy a few times this season. Of the remaining couples, they’re also the couple with the lowest average score. And let’s face it: despite the improvements Candace has made, she’s still no match for Olympic athletes Meryl and Amy.
Odds: 25 to 1

DWTS Season 18, THE FINALE: Who’s Dancing What…and When?? (SPOILERS)

Well, I’m looking forward to a great night of dancing!! Especially curious about the freestyles. 🙂

Warning…I will be turning comment moderation on during the show again and the rules we’ve been using for the last couple weeks will apply once again.

The dances shown below are for night one. It appears that all couples that make it to Tuesday will be doing a 24-hour fusion dance, similar to last season, I would imagine.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

People Interviews DWTS Meryl Davis And Maksim Chmerkovskiy

I wish I could feel the “they bring out the best in each other” as I am just not feeling it. I feel it’s more of “promotion” thing instead to convince me how perfect this union is. Sorry, not. Anyway, below is more from People today on Maks and Meryl and how they are feeling currently going into the finals.

They bring out the best in each other.

“I feel that I can really be myself with Maks,” the Olympic ice skater, 27, tells PEOPLE. “He pushes me to stand up for myself, whether it’s in real life or on the dance floor. It’s cool.”

And the fiery Russian admits that his gold medalist partner inspires him to create even more complicated dances.

“She lets me be creative,” the 34-year-old tells PEOPLE. “I’ve already done more on this season than I’ve done on Dancing with the Stars in 13 seasons.”

More at People. ETA: Here is a video too from the link….

Dancing with the Stars – Winning Freestyles Through the Years, Part Three

On to part 3!! Where everything became “supersized”. 🙂 Be sure to watch part 1 and Part 2 so you can get the full history.

Season 13 – JR and Karina. I remember not being overly impressed by this one at the time, possibly because I saw so many moves that I had seen in Derek’s previous dances, not that they belonged to him or anything. But in retrospect, it’s quite good and it’s certainly the best of the season. Loved the ending bit the most. 🙂 Read more..

Dancing With The Stars Season 18 Finals: Astrology Study And Numerology Predictions

Hi All! It’s Vogue back again to introduce another one of DonaMadrina’s fun Numerology Prediction posts. This time she analyzes the couples numbers for the Finals of Dancing With The Stars Season 18!! Dona also goes through last week’s numbers for what happened in the Semi-Finals. I’ve also included a little Astrology information in this post at the end for you to think about in mixing up things further. 🙂 Ok, let’s get started, shall we?

Battle of the 9’s – Part II
by DonaMadrina

WEEK 9 Reviewed
So Charlie went home! 🙁 Was that surprising to me from the numbers? Yes…and no.

As I mentioned last week, numerology is as much an art as a science. Knowing how to “read” the numbers takes years of practice, especially when there is so much duality in the charts, i.e. too close to call.

Hindsight is golden, as they say. And, darn! I wished I had talked about “Week 9’s” numbers in the verbiage of Part I. Though I included the charts, had I elaborated on them, we’d have seen an important piece of information that might have hinted at Charlie possibly being in trouble. Charlie’s elimination is much more obvious now – but this is hindsight. Read more..
