Congrats to Tom! Honestly, for me, if he ever decided to leave the show, I don’t think anyone else could replace him. He is such an awesome dynamic to the show!
I think he has this award in the bag!
Tom Bergeron IS Dancing With The Stars!
Congratulations to the Best Host in the Business!
I love how quickly his mind works. I am always waiting for an opportunity for Tom to give his classic zingers.
When Len was giving his comments to Amy and Derek after their awesome Jazz, you could see Tom wanted to jump on the word Len used. Had no idea want it meant “blessed with perspicacity”. So I looked it up. Means clear-sightedness – perceptiveness – sharpness – intelligence (ha)- wisdom (ha ha) But Len gave the well deserved standing O and Tom never got the chance.
What a treasure Tom is to the show. Unflappable, never afraid to needle the judges, always supporting the stars and pros.
Tom Bergeron is the backbone of DWTS and he certainly should have this award. I can’t image the show without him. And, I just love his humor which makes the show so much fun! Love how he interacts with the judges and the dance couples.
DWTS has certainly provided Tom with considerable grist for his wit. For me his best line EVER, was after Derek and Kellie finished their week 2 jazz (Derek shirtless, Kellie bikini-ish). Tom said, “If you’ve just joined us we’re playing, ‘Find the Body Fat.'” He is the master, and is without question a significant reason for the show’s success.
Susan, You brought to mind another great Tom comment. Derek and Joanna Krupa danced a very HOT Lambada. Carrie Ann Inaba commented she hoped that “the children were in bed”. Tom immediately said, “I bet some of the adults are now”!
You are the absolute best, Tom! To paraphrase Kenny Ortega, Tom YOU redefine hosting for this generation!
LOL #Linz….I remember that like it was yesterday.
@Susan….right after Tom made the comment about the body fat, CAI motioned for Kellie to come while she was standing in a red dress, and soon as she hugged her, CAI was playing with the top of her dress and said, “My boobs almost fell out.” Then Tom said, “It wouldn’t be the first time.”
He’s a RIOT!!!!
