Sharna Burgess Interviewed About DWTS, Ballroom With A Twist, And More

Are there lots of you missing Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess like I am? If so, head to MissO and Friends. They have posted a fun new interview with Sharna. She talks about Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and gives advise to aspiring dancers. She also talks on her new things coming up one of which includes Ballroom With A twist and her and Paul Kirkland’s new dance project called “Ballroom Fusion” which starts in November!!! Here’s a small take from the link.

Tell us about your experience at So You Think You Can Dance.

“I’ve worked on SYTYCD many times and every single time I’m inspired by the dancers and what they can achieve. I love what the show represents and that it gives our young talent a chance to be in front of some of the country’s top choreographers and also millions of people at home. It’s such a growing experience for them. I actually wish that years ago I had the opportunity to be a part of it as a competitor. Unfortuanately for me, I was always working and on tour since the show began so it was never possible.”

You are a choreographer too. What kind of dance do you teach – or is it up to the learner?

“I am a choreographer and lately other than DWTS I do more choreography than dance. There is something about choreographing and seeing your vision come to life that fills me with joy and pride, not just for myself but for my team. I choreograph many different styles but ballroom and jazz would be my 2 strongest.”

What have you got coming up in the future we should look out for?

“I will be performing with Ballroom With A Twist all through August and am really looking forward to taking the live stage with Maks, Val, Karina Cheryl and Tony!”
