PureDWTS Season 19 Week 1 Poem: “Shaking 19 Seasons In The Ballroom”

It’s our resident poet, Lois!! She’s back putting week one all together with one of her fabulous poems….

SHAKING 19 SEASONS IN THE BALLROOM

19 Seasons shaking in the ballroom, spicy, peppery hot
The opening seasoned with a new feel, hitting the spot

Tom and Erin took their places as Hosts Extraordinaire
The judges became four, Julianne filled the fourth chair

The entire cast featured, with rousing spirit to Let’s Go
The time finally here for the magnificent ballroom show

The dancing pairs introduced to applause and cheers
Each season showcased many pairs through the years

The pairs shook off nerves, rising to their dancing feet
Their feet soon keeping the time to the dancing beat Read more..

Dancing with the Stars Season 19, Week 2 – Who’s Dancing What….and When? (Song Spoilers)

Well, well, well….DWTS tryin’ to spoil our spoilin’. Those crazy kids. Maybe some knickers were twisted by last weeks spoiling?? LOL

Hey, Lea mentioned doing something with “Back to the Future” or a “surprise” for next week – think next week is Personal Story week? 😉

Anyway, here are the dances and a few songs for you folks. Derek is about as subtle as a sledge hammer with his song, and DWTS spoiled Janel’s and hinted at Alfonso’s. So, just to be contrary, we’re throwing in Randy’s too. Unless they’ve spoiled that somewhere as well. Bummed that Janel is almost certain to ruin my happy memories of “Call Me Maybe”.

Anyone else think that Sadie and Mark will KILL the Jazz?? I sure do.

ETA: We’d appreciate you not jumping the gun in comments, thanks.

ETA2: Well, ABC reallllly wanted to be in charge of releasing the songs this week, as they’ve put them all in a press release, spoiling all our fun. 😉

Monday’s show kicks-off with a spectacular opening number featuring the full cast and judges dancing to a medley of the judges’ favorite songs. Each couple will then perform a variety of dances, including the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Jive and Rumba, to their favorite jam. (Heidi’s Note: yeah, not so much.)

Oh, and this (results show) has potential…

Judge Julianne Hough takes to the ballroom floor and will dance in a number featuring Derek Hough and the male Pros.

ETA3: Not a very good position for Janel, all things considered.

ETA4: Aaannd, probably a better running order spot than Antonio should have, when there’s a results show and no elimination at the end of the show.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

Tony Dovolani Thanks Fans For Voting For Him And Betsey Johnson

That’s Your Reality is featuring an article on Tony Dovolani. He thanks fans for voting. Below is a bit more. Click the link to read the full article.

Normally harsh judge Len Goodman went easy on the pair, telling them, “I was enjoying it so much, it was so entertaining, and then the disaster with the boa. I’m so upset! Look at my face, I’m crushed!”

Tony and Betsey finished Monday evening as the lowest scoring couple which unsurprisingly, left them in jeopardy on elimination night. However, the viewers decided to send Olympian Jones and newcomer Keoikantse Motsepe off of the dance floor instead, giving Tony and Betsey a chance to redeem themselves.

Following the results, Tony sent a video to That’s Your Reality from the Dancing With The Stars studio, to thank fans for saving them. “We really appreciate it, she did such a great job, and it was a shame that that boa got in the way,” he said. “But it’s Week 2 now so we’re going to try to impress you again. Please keep supporting us, because I want her to do a good job!”

Len Goodman Talks About Dancing With The Stars With Jimmy Kimmel

Sometimes I can get annoyed with Len Goodman as a judge, but, I really wouldn’t want him to ever leave Dancing With The Stars. The show wouldn’t be the same without him. Below he’s a goof on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night!
