PureDWTS 19 Poem For Week 7: “A Bat-Witching Ballroom Brew”

Let’s give an applause to Lois! Below is another one of her fun poems for Dancing With The Stars. She’s included a message too…

Before I begin my poem for Week 7, I want to give a huge round of applause to the entire production of this show! Those who did the make-up, costumes, the intricate set designs. They did a stupendous job of getting everything ready for the show! I am in awe of how they can switch out sets and everything in the course of a commercial! Bravo to everyone who brings us this very special show called DANCING WITH THE STARS! They created a HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR!!!!!! Also special applause for The Troupe and their fellow pros who enhanced the pairs’ dances again this week! They can do anything and do it with astounding talent!

My Poem for Week 7

A BAT-WITCH-ING BALLROOM BREW!

The brew was being concocted, the ballroom dressed up for Halloween
The haunted opening was a Black and White Ball, A Bat-Witch-ing scene

A BAT-WITCH-ING BALLROOM BREW stirred up in a cauldron of dance
The pros, the pairs greeted Len, joining the judges for a second chance

There were many tricks and treats being brewed for our viewing pleasure
A spine-chilling masquerade, a spooky, ghostly, Halloween-boo treasure

BREW NUMBER ONE
JANEL AND VAL – VIENNESE WALTZ
SECRET

Air of mystery, dead-on delicious, beautiful
Dressed to kill, slinky, fluid motion

BREW NUMBER TWO
BETHANY AND DEREK – PASO DOBLE
RUN BOY RUN – WITH A DRUM CHORUS

Powerful, commanding beats, grand, operatic
Fierce, dynamic, flames of passion, cleverly executed

BREW NUMBER THREE
ALFONSO AND.WITNEY – RUMBA
GHOST – WITH ELLA HENDERSON

Powerful, passionate, stunning,
Full of integrity, proper rumba, magical

BREW NUMBER FOUR
LEA AND ARTEM – ARGENTINE TANGO
NECESSARY EVIL – WITH NINA SIMONE

Strict, staccato, photogenic lines
Precise, well-placed great shapes

BREW NUMBER FIVE
MICHAEL AND EMMA – JIVE
THE DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA

Country barn dance feel, old-fashioned boots made for dancing
With a fiddle and lots of square dance, hoedown appeal

BREW NUMBER SIX
ANTONIO AND CHERYL – VIENNESE WALTZ
I PUT A SPELL ON YOU

Brewing flames of passion, flames of love
Casting a beautiful spell, flowing twists and turns

BREW NUMBER SEVEN
TOMMY AND PETA – QUICKSTEP
THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC

Tommy the Great, easy on eye, seasoned magician
Magical steps, light and airy, charming

BREW NUMBER EIGHT
SADIE AND MARK – PASO DOBLE
COME WITH ME NOW

Playful, pounding beats, entertaining performance
Celtic feel, grand, dynamic paso beats

BREW NUMBER NINE
TEAM ITSYBITSY – BLACK WIDOW
JANEL, VAL, BETHANY, DEREK, LEA, ARTEM, MICHAEL, EMMA

Spidery hand movements, pulsating, clever, compelling
Spectacular pairs solos, high flying lifts, human spider web

BREW NUMBER TEN
TEAM CREEPY – TIME WARP
Alfonso, Witney, Sadie, Mark, Tommy, Peta, Antonio, Cheryl

Cinematic circus extravaganza, mime movements
Broadway bonanza, dazzling solo pairs, high energy

A BAT-WITCH-ING BALLROOM BREW, a Halloween show, a trick and a treat
The show was a DANCING WITH THE STARS production that cannot be beat!
