Preview Of Bruno Tonioli In Sun TV Magazine’s Exclusive Halloween ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Special Feature
Aren’t the two images of Dancing With The Stars judge Bruno Tonioli below just spectacular? They are part of a new Halloween “Strictly Come Dancing” Exclusive feature inside Sun TV Magazine. Craig Revel Horwood is also pictured on the cover along with Bruno. The photographer for the cover shoot is Simon Webb.
Editor Steven Corbit tells PureDWTS that Bruno was dressed as a vampire on the shoot at his request. He loved the outfit. It was done on a Saturday at the Strictly studios just before filming began for the UK version of Dancing With The Stars. Bruno had just flown back from filming Dancing With The Stars in the US. The full interview with Bruno will be online on Saturday at Sun TV Magazine.
Special thanks to Sun TV Magazine for the fun pics and preview. You can follow them at twitter at @suntvmagazine. You can follow photographer Simon Webb at @simonwebbphoto and at Simon Webb Photography.
ETA with another fun teaser: We’ve also been told that Bruno is doing a Salsa with a skeleton for this shoot (hilarious!). For extra pictures and the full interview with Bruno and Craig see Sun TV Magazine. Thanks again to Samantha and Steven at Sun TV Magazine and Simon Webb for the Halloween goodies!!
Everybody the one holding the 1 paddle is Craig he gives out 2/3/4 paddles like crazy
Thanks Nathan. He sounds grumpier than Len.
I love Craig! Yeah he gives scores below 5 like cand, but he does give some constructive criticiam rather than just telling the couples they sucked. And I think he is a very funny man.. even though his face doesn’t show it lol. I wish he would guest judge on DWTS one day.
Bruno makes a good Dracula. 😛
He sounds funny….and he kind of looks like Len too, doesn’t he?!. lol Thanks CC and I agree. Bruno is the perfect Dracula. I love how he really got into the part. The camera soaks him up….same with Craig.
I’d actually LOVE to see Craig on DWTS – but I doubt it’ll happen.
For some reason the DWTS scores are always really high compared to both Strictly and the Danish version. It’s not uncommon to see the 2/3/4 paddles over here in Europe. I think the highest that was given on the first night here in Denmark this season was a 6. I kinda wish they did it the same way on DWTS – it would give the couples somewhere to go instead of starting out with 8s and 9s.
If Craig was a judge on DWTS he would definitely still use the same scoring as in the UK and I don’t think the producers would like that on DWTS.
As CC said – he is strict (even more so than Len) but he gives the couples something to work on and get better each week. I actually don’t know if he’s ballroom trained but he’s definitely been a dancer for a long time himself in the West End and on tv shows. (he’s also a theatre director). And while he may not look it – he’s actually quite funny (and he pretty much calls everybody “darling”)
Thanks Gitte. I am even more curious now for what he might be like on the US version. Instead of entertainers as 4th judge, I wish they would ask former dancers with experience instead….like Craig, Shirley and Corky Ballas.
Here’s a clip of Craig talking about this season of Strictly – that might help you get a littlr glimpse into what kind of judge he is (I hope the video plays for you in the US) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRuM86hNS2o
Americans are very delicate. They want everyone to get a trophy just for showing up, going by twitter. 🙂
Craig would get chased out of LA if he was a judge on DWTS. I’d love it just to see the reactions from everyone on here and pro dancers like Derek, Mark and Val 😀 It was week 5 of SCD in the UK last Saturday and Craig still gave a 3 to someone. I can tell you now Michael would have probably got a 2 for that Jive he did.
Derek could handle it…not at all sure about the other boys though.
I love Craig on SCD but if he ever came to DWTS, people would go nuts. He hands out low scores and zingers like it’s Halloween and the dancers are trick or treaters. I watch SCD through Youtube and what would get a 6 here he would give a 4 or a 5 usually.I am always in shock when he pulls out a paddle over an 8 or a compliment. Perfect example of him at his best is when Robin and Lisa in week one and he made her so happy. At his worst…..just look at any of judy and anton’s dances (especially week 1 and 2….talk about brutal).
Submitted early by accident.
Like I was saying, he would be hated by the viewers. The female judge on SCD is Darcey Bussell. Now, she would be well recieved on DWTS. She is beyond nice and just so down to earth, Wouldn’t mind seing her as a guest judge.
Sun TV Magazine sent us another teaser. Check out the update in the first post if interested. Too fun! I love Bruno!
