The semi-finalists including Tommy Chong, Bethany Mota, Janel Parrish, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Sadie Robertson will perform to two different versions of the same song. In the first round of the competition, the couples will perform a Jazz, Quickstep, Samba, Paso Doble or Argentine Tango to an original or “plugged” version of their selected song. In round two of the competition, the couples will perform an Argentine Tango, Rumba, or Contemporary routine to an acoustic or “unplugged” version of that same song. Special musical guests will accompany the unplugged performances including singer Christina Grimmie, who will perform “Love Runs Out,” Time For Three, who will perform “Blame,” and YouTube sensation Noah Guthrie, who will perform his cover of “Problem.” At the end of the night, one couple will be eliminated and four couples will move on to the finals.

Afterbuzz TV And Shirley Ballas Review The Dancing With The Stars Season 19 Quarterfinals

Kristen Burtt says Shirley Ballas is “on fire” and that she is as she helps to review the new dances on Dancing With The Stars with the Afterbuzz TV gang. Let us know what you think in comments.

My thoughts: Great show and I pretty much agreed with them on everything except for what Anna said on Derek & Bethany’s Trio dance. I loved what the panel as a whole said on Bethany & Derek and Sadie & Mark and their individual dances. Same with Alfonso & Witney and Tommy & Peta. I especially agreed with Shirley on Artem and Lea. She nailed it and then some for what I could never find the words for. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Shirley should be a Judge for this show!!

Mark Ballas Writes On New Dances For Dancing With The Stars And More

Mark couldn’t be more proud of Sadie Robertson than he is right now. He’s also so grateful for Emma Slater helping them get to the Semi-Finals. He also writes about their new dances coming up….

It was a good night all in all. Truly coming down to it, I am so grateful to be in the semi-finals and grateful to all of the fans for voting for us.

I’m really proud of Sadie. I thought she really showed a completely different side of her last night. She was so elegant, so poised and so beautiful.

I’m really looking forward to taking on this week and hopefully making a dash for the finals. I’m so incredibly proud of Sadie and really happy to be here again. This week is plugged un-plugged where we dance to the same song twice, but two different versions of the song.

We have the quick step and the argentine tango. Hopefully these two styles will be great with Sadie. We’re looking forward to competing and hopefully taking it all the way!
