Robert Herjavec Wishes His Wife The Best After Separating, Rehearsing For Dancing With The Stars

I think some of you might have guessed in comments last week that Kym Johnson’s partner, Robert Herjavec, has separated from his wife. E Online is confirming it now, but, not without ending their article on a positive note about him dancing with Kym on Dancing With The Stars.

“Human relationships are so difficult,” Herjavec told TMZ, which also reported that the ABC star has his eye on divorce court as well. “I wish nothing but love and peace for our family as we move forward from this.”

The 52-year-old Croatian-born and Canadian-bred businessman made his fortune in the security solutions industry, his Herjavec Group being one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech companies. He previously starred on the CBC’s Dragon’s Den before joining Shark Tank. (And yes, the overall concepts are the same.)

Herjavec has been paired with veteran DWTS pro Kym Johnson, who’s already been getting treated to the jet-set lifestyle as the partner of presumably one of the most monied of this year’s contestants.

“May be the fastest dip ever!! 600 mph @kym_johnson @DancingABC #sharkaroo,” Herjavec tweeted this afternoon along with a pic of a rehearsal in progress on a private plane.

DWTS20 Watchout: Is The Mystery Contestant On Dancing With The Stars Season 20 Really Chris Soules?

Is the mystery contestant on Dancing With The Stars Season 20 really Chris Soules? People made some alternate suggestions in case it isn’t. Could it be one of these choices instead?: Jesse Williams, Matt McGorry, Ryan Phillippe, Chad Michael Murray, Scott Foley and BONUS: Jamie Dornan. Read the link to see how they came up with those names. Below is a take that adds to the speculation….

Many have speculated that The Bachelor’s Chris Soules is a contender for that last spot in the DWTS cast, but the farmer from Arlington, Iowa, has been very vocal about his lack of any inherent musicality.

(Remember when he rapped? Game though he was, it still may have been the most embarrassing thing to happen on a season in which one contestant had a black censor bar covering her butt’s every short-shorted move.)

However, there have been hints. When DWTS host Tom Bergeron made the cast announcement on Good Morning America on Feb. 24, he said that the last contestant “couldn’t rose – I mean, rise early enough” for the big reveal.

Furthermore, Carson posted a selfie of herself on Instagram just one day prior to the announcement in the middle of nowhere – like Arlington, perhaps – with the caption, “Just moments away from meeting my new partner!”

That said, these could all be red herrings devised by ABC to drive us all mad from speculation.

Just in case Soules is not the mystery contestant, we’ve compiled five perfectly great contenders from other ABC franchises (plus one bonus) for the DWTS producers to consider. You’re welcome! (If any of them end up getting cast, we want a finder’s fee.)

Ryan Phillippe or Scott Foley….I say YES to those two. Let us know what you think?

PureDWTS More Information On Cheryl Burke’s New Variety Show “I Can Do That”

Finally! Below is a little more information on the new Variety Show Cheryl Burke has in the works on NBC. From People….

That’s the question NBC will ask as part of its new variety show tentatively eyed for summer called I Can Do That! The network announced today that it has ordered six hour-long episodes of a new comedy variety series that will pit six celebrities against one another while they perform skills that they never knew they had.

Marlon Wayans will host the weekly competition, on which the former Dancing with the Stars pro Burke will join Jonas and Ciara, as well as Nicole Scherzinger, stand-up comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire).

I Can Do That! was developed by an Israeli production company and is currently in production in more than 15 countries, including Italy, Brazil, Spain, Finland and Mexico.

“We’re excited to watch our all-star cast rise to the challenges ahead in such a fresh, new way,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative programming. “Our viewers are going to fall in love with how these natural born entertainers push themselves outside of their comfort zones to put on a spectacular show every week.”
