DWTS20 Week 3 Rehearsal Interview With Chris Soules And Witney Carson, Beautiful Footage In The Sun – Video
Chris Soules has been working hard on his “sexy” faces for his Argentine Tango tonight for Dancing With The Stars. See more with he and Witney Carson below including some amazing shots of them dancing in the sun. Thanks to E News…
Chris seems like a really nice guy, and I can’t stand those Bachelor, bachelorette shows. I hope Whitney does him justice. I hope she does’t feel she has accomplished everything by winning 1 MBT. Chris seems nice and hardworking, she should be patient. She has to accept that 99% of her partners won’t be an Alfonso. She was so sweet with Drew, which is what I think got her Alfonso. I hope she can go back to that.
+1 Ananya! I couldn’t agree more. I’m really liking him and how sincere he is (which has been a very pleasant surprise compared to Sean Lowe). Even if she might not win with him, it doesn’t mean he’s not a winner or that she should be frustrated with him or give up.
@Ananya – I’ve heard a lot of theories as to why Witney got Alfonso, but for what it’s worth, I actually think the only reasons Witney got Alfonso were a) height, and b) the fact that she is the only female pro with any extensive tap experience. I don’t know that it really had anything to do with how she partnered Drew in season 18 or for “good behavior”, so to speak. Really and truly, the more I watch this show, the more I think that it really is, for the most part, a random crap shoot each season on who gets whom. I don’t know that any pro necessarily gets rewarded or punished for their behavior in a previous season (unless you’re Maks, and throw a hissy fit); I think the only patterns of a certain pro consistently getting a “good” partner coincide with possible agendas by TPTB (namely, Val). By the time the casting team takes into account heights, ages, schedules, personalities, possible requests for a certain pro, etc., I’m not sure that there’s a whole lot to work with in terms of rewarding or punishing a certain pro by giving them a certain celeb. As I’ve said multiple times before – partner quality on this show is cyclical. Everyone ends up getting a dud at some point, and everyone ends up getting someone good at some point. Some seasons are a breeze with certain partners; others can be a real beast. It’s just about riding out the storm when things are bad, and bringing out the best in your partner when things are good.
In Wit’s case, I think she just better keep her tantrums to a minimum, as we’ve seen her throw one with Alfonso (in week 2 of last season), and possibly throwing another one tonight with Chris. If it continues, she may not find herself with a good OR bad partner next season – she may just be out of work altogether.
Gosh I hope Chris and Witney don’t go home tonight. That would make me so sad!! Courtney, I agree with everything you said about Alfonso being her partner.
I wouldn’t confuse Sean with Jake Pavelka – who was an insincere jackass. Sean was actually cool, too, though initially boring as hell. But remember his bromance with Tristan?? That was some funny shit right there. 🙂
