Sharna Burgess Is So Proud Of Noah Galloway – New Blog For DWTS Season 20 Week 3
Sharna Burgess has posted her new blog at Closer Weekly. She runs through the challenging week putting together her and Noah’s Argentine Tango. She also gives us a glimpse of what might be coming for next week’s dance. More below and be sure you read the full blog at the link as she posted some fun “behind the scenes” pictures as well.
I could not be more proud of Noah. He is improving every week and that is key in this competition. We of course have a lot of work to do on his movement if we want to stay in, but just wow! He inspires me every day with how much he wants this. He can be very hard on himself, as he is a perfectionist and can become super frustrated if things don’t go as well as they have before. In truth, last night wasn’t our best run and Carrie Ann was right in what she said. We need that constructive criticism from the judges because it reinforces to Noah the things I teach him. It wasn’t until Noah watched it back a second time that he saw the beauty in what he had done last night.
Moving forward, this [week’s dance theme] is ‘Most Memorable Year’ and you already know that this is usually a very emotional week for most couples. Noah’s story deserves greatness, something epic and worthy of him and what his been through. It is Tuesday and I haven’t yet found what that is. I can feel I’ve put a lot of pressure on myself this week, which is more than I think I have in a long time. I want it to be perfect, to blow everyone away and to have our viewers be taken on a journey with us. Telling his story is important and I have to stop myself from getting emotional while trying to create. It ain’t easy! We have [to perform a] contemporary [dance] this week and, if you don’t already know, it is one of my faves! 🙂 Our song is just amazing! It is beyond perfect for Noah and what we are trying to achieve. I can’t wait for you all to see the finished product.
Lastly my loves, I want to thank you soooooo much for the incredible support for #TeamShway! Without you guys we wouldn’t still be here. All the love you shout out to us is seen on social media and it gives the both of us so much joy to know all of Noah’s hard work is paying off. We will keep working out butts off and hopefully… we can take #TeamShway all the way! 🙂

Well, I am ready to bawl my eyes out next Monday night. I’ll have a box of tissues at hand.
That Contemporary is going to be amazing. I just know it. Can’t wait!
Looking forward to their week 4 dance. Did they almost fall at the end of their dance this week? I remember cringing a bit at the end (pictured above) and thinking that they were going to topple over.
I’m so glad they have Contemporary for Most Memorable Year. While I think Sharna can choreography any style to fit Noah, I think this one is the best choice for this week because I feel it will suit Noah perfectly. It plays directly to his strengths.
Yes, marintx, they did have a slight wobble at the end but I feel through sheer strength–both of will and of body, they stabilized it.
Hope to see that move again in a future routine.
I can’t wait for Monday nights to see Noah and Sharna,,,poetry in motion. Noah, you are amazing! Sharna, you are creating dances that we are watching over and over.
I thought I’d be over the watery eyes by the 3rd week but no chance. My dog cuddles up beside me in a comforting way and looks up at me. I’m sure he wonders what’s wrong. I’m so happy that Jamie is out and can be with Noah on his journey. I am so happy that he has someone who loves him a lot and it shows when she looks at him. Last week their reunion on the show just blew me away.
Can’t wait to see Noah & Sharna’s Contemporary, it’s going to be beautiful.
Yay for Sharna and Noah!
What an incredible pose. ITA about sheer strength of will and strength of body, @Cidra #3. Sharna had said Noah is her jungle gym and he lifts her with one arm. His body awareness is amazing. Noah and Sharna have so much trust and respect for one another but they also seem to have fun while working hard. I also like watching their all-access rehearsals and listening to the Alabama and Aussie accents.
