KSPR has a special report on the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour from last night. You can read a little below, but, see the link for more including a fun video!!
Fans of the hit ABC show, Dancing with the Stars got up close and personal with some of the show’s biggest names at Hammons Hall Sunday.
The Dancing with the Stars Live national tour hit Springfield.
Dozens of fans got to take pictures during a meet and greet with some of the dancers and headliner, reality star, Melissa Rycoft.
It was a special time, not only for the fans.
Dancer, Val Chmerkovskiy said, “I don’t take it for granted that people are making an effort to come out and spend time watching us do what we love.”
Reality star, Melissa Rycoft said, “Ballroom was very humbling to learn you know. I came in going, I can count, surely, this won’t be that difficult. It’s like trying to learn a new language every week. It’s really difficult.”
And I’m loving these instagrams. See why below….
I just got home from the Fort Wayne tour stop. It was a fun, fast moving evening. It was clear from the start that this tour was Val’s tour. He was the first pro out on the stage, got mentioned several times as the current Mirrorball champion and got a lot of single partner showdance pieces, mostly with Peta and Witney.
Luckily for me, his douchenozzle was turned down to about a 2.
I just adored seeing Sasha and Emma dance live. They did a Jive together that was incredibly fast and precise. How they got through it without hurling on stage at the end I’ll never know. It was that non-stop.
Keo was charming and goofy on stage. I wonder why we don’t see that side of him on the show.
Alan Bernstein impressed the hell out of me with his technique and stage presense.
Emma came out and made fun of our wierd Indiana rainy one minute, sunny the next weather. It was cute.
In the first half of the show Emma and Sasha come out into the audience and take questions for the pros. I was in an aisle seat and Sasha started down my aisle. He stopped at the lady seated directly in front of me and kneeled down to talk to her, which meant he was kneeling directly at my feet. My internal monologue went something like “don’tspazzoutdon’tspazzoutdon’tspazzout!” while trying to externally look cool. I think I did okay!
