Tamar Braxton Has Pneumonia, Doubtful She Will Perform On DWTS

TMZ is reporting Tamar Braxton has Pneumonia and she may not perform tonight. Read the link for more. Sad, I hope this isn’t true. Thanks to Andrea for the heads up.

Tamar Braxton is in the ER right now, and it’s doubtful she’ll make the live show for “Dancing with the Stars,” which means she could be disqualified.

We’re told Braxton has pneumonia — something she’s been battling for two weeks, and while rehearsing her dances for Monday night’s show she became extremely sick.

Dancing with the Stars Season 21, Week 9 – LIVE BLOG (Spoilers)

Maybe we should start a drinking game on Tamar and Alek’s bad packages. And for every time Julianne hands out a score based on feared backlash. And for every time one of them says “If you’re here next week…”

Sad when you go into your once favorite TV show expecting to be pissed off at least once during the evening.

T-minus 30 minutes…

ICYMI – Vogue reported that Tamar has pneumonia and her performing is questionable.

Alek did pretty well!! And he wasn’t too hosed on scores. The manscaping was more than I really needed to see.

FYI – Val whining about about their schedule on All Access. He didn’t even know Tamar had left. In other news, Sharna forgot the makeup mirror has a camera. I saw more than I needed to see. Sorry Sharna.

Great contemporary number by Alexa and Mark – enjoyed it more than Nick’s last week. A bit repetitive in a couple spots, but if she doesn’t get a perfect score I cry foul.

OK, first stupid thing for the night – Carlos’ AT song?? Ludicrous. I didn’t even know what style it was there for a while. Have to agree with CAI, as much as it pains me to say so.

Bindi is the sweetest thing ever…and that was a beautiful V. Waltz. And no, I don’t think that was a lift, but I expect the random lift caller to yell about it.

Yes, Val, we’re very aware that you’ve never had so many challenges before. Poor Tamar though. Judges are going to score the dress rehearsal.

I have to say, she looks rather unwell…kinda sweaty. Unsteady on her feet. I think the 7s were a bit harsh.

Oh for fuck’s sake, Sharna just threw out that she hasn’t won yet. Boo f8cking who.

Derek and Mark on All Access saying they didn’t get to see their show until Thursday so they didn’t get to start it until Friday.

Took WAY too long to get into hold for Nick and Sharna, and then they got out of hold way to early. Len would give that a 7. How about you do the assigned style, bud?

Julianne!! The dance is supposed to be in hold!! Bruno is out of control. Dance should get all 8s for lack of content.

So Rob Wade picked the teams?? Nice. Let’s not have anything happen naturally.

I love Alek… “Carlos, yer gonna die, ahahahahahahaha” Wow…great package.

I don’t know if that was the best technically, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. 🙂 The judges that raved over a quickstep that had way too little in hold, are being overly harsh on a ridiculous theme dance.

And the scores were harsh as expected.

Okay, that dance kicked ASS!!! Wow. Perfect. One tiny sync issue at the very end, but damn, that would be a tiny nit pick.

Man, they were VERY kind to Tamar and Nick’s dance. I feel for Tamar, I really do – but….

Crap, either Alexa or Carlos is going home. I knew they wouldn’t be able to resist putting them in jeopardy against each other.

And, unfortunately, Alexa is eliminated. Called it wrong this week – she was like my third choice.

In other news, the producers have reached a new level of disgusting stealth cam behavior. You guys just disgust me. To an extreme. Carlos…spare me dude. She’s not dying.

Seriously, the last five minutes of this show made me not care if I saw it again. Derek Hough, get thee to Broadway – they don’t deserve you. And they don’t deserve Mark either.

DWTS Season 21, Week 10 – Who’s Dancing What…and When?

So, what kind of crazy assed, ridiculous, redundant and stupid theme will we have to endure in week 10??

Vogue here: LOL Heidi! Well, guess what? According to the Afterbuzz interviews (you can watch them in the new Media and Interviews Post), it’s “Trio’s” week! The couples also have a “ballroom” dance. Sharna revealed they will be dancing with Peta for their Trio dance (Yay! She’s back!). Lindsay said she and Alek have a Waltz and an Argentine Tango, but, they didn’t say for which dance. Also, JC Rubio tweeted that Emma will be back (not sure how yet?).

ETA2: As most of you have already heard, Tamar withdrew.  Also got confirmation that Emma is in Alek & Lindsay’s trio (!!!!) and they have Argentine tango (double !!!), which means their individual dance is waltz. Also looks like Carlos revealed his dances & songs in some interview…sorry guys, just waking up to all this stuff, so let me know if anything is missing…and please provide a source 🙂 – Court-

ETA3: Apparently Victor mentioned in his Snapchat that Karina is in Carlos’ trio.  Gonna trust you guys with anything Snapchat-related, because I hate it and can only be bothered to use it to talk to my sister. -Court-

ETA4: Per Derek’s blog, Mark is tentatively in their trio, depending on his injury, and it’s a jazz trio. Complete guess on my part, but if Mark can’t dance, I could see Sasha stepping in. Their individual dance is salsa, and he also mentions this mysterious “3rd dance” that TPTB have thrown in to fill time since Tamar withdrew. -Court-

ETA5: So, according to People.com, the mystery dance is a dance off where the winning couple gets 3 points. And yes, the manipulation gene is strong in these producers. Bindi is dancing against Nick – a samba which he has already done. Carlos versus Alek is a cha cha – which Carlos has already done. These…..people…just can’t help themselves. The BS just never ends. Ya know, with the way they add dances to this show, it’s not hard to find two dances that neither couple has done to at least attempt to make it fair.

ETA6: So per Deep Throat, apparently Carlos is no longer doing a samba trio, and the song they’re using is NOT the Austin Mahone one he mentioned.  DT says it “looks more like a Charleston or jazz” and the song they’re using sounds “old-timey”. So what happened? Don’t know for sure – did Carlos misspeak? Did Witney veto the song/dance? Did Carlos just suck at samba and they threw him something he was more likely to handle well? Discuss. -Court-

ETA7: According to Derek, he and Bindi are dancing first tonight. Dance order doesn’t matter much at this stage of the game, but I do wonder WHY they’re going first. To be underscored, or to set the bar for the rest. ~Heidi
