I want John Stamos, and I don’t know who else really. I’m kind of over the Vine stars/YouTube Stars thing. Hayes was more concerned about trending on Twitter and Bethany never really used her pull on YouTube to get people to vote for her….if anything, she alienated them because she wasn’t putting out many videos during her DWTS run. I also don’t thing they were watching either..same for Haye’s fans.
Please don’t sign Nate Grier to DWTS Rob Wade. I’d like to see Robert Irwin but it’ll be a few years before he’s old enough imho…wait till he’s 18 😉

Yakoff Smirnoff is campaigning hard to be on the show next season. Judging from some of the pictures he has posted, he’s spent time in the audience this past season and now that he has moved back to LA…it seems more than reasonable. It would be a way to expose him back to the general population again.

Otherwise, I don’t really care, I end up liking almost everyone even when I haven’t heard of them.
Sara #16 – maybe there’s been no male gymnasts because the US hasn’t really had a great showing at the Olympics since DWTS started. I suppose Jonathan Horton or Paul Hamm might be well-known enough – but with so many male athletes available, I can see why it hasn’t happened. Plus they tend to be pretty short (Horton is 5’1″ and Hamm is 5’4″ I think) so you run into problems like with Victor this season. But I’m all for it if they do it someday!
Speaking of which, 2016 summer Olympics is just around the corner so I will not only enjoy the games, but will keep my eye out for potential celebs for the Fall DWTS season.
As I say every season, would love a retired baseball player. I’m actually surprised Pete Rose hasn’t been on, since he’s such an attention hog.

I think any potential summer Olympic athletes can be crossed off the list, until Season 23 at least.
However, it wouldn’t surprise me to see an NFL “star” on Season 22, especially a player that was in the Super Bowl given the timing. Unless of course there’s another model from a Super Bowl ad they decide to cast ::eye roll::
I personally had not heard of half the case of Season 21, so it’s hard for me to be too specific… But given the time constraints of this show, I think it will mostly likely be a cast half filled with people I have to Google. I’m most looking forward to Len returning and restoring some normalcy to the judging.

I did read where someone suggested Sasha Cohen to be paired with Sasha Farber. This actually makes perfect sense… Sasha Cohen is close friends with Nastia, and she is a great height to be partnered with Sasha Farber. She has all the right connections if she’s interested. Plus, Sasha Cohen would be fantastic in the ballroom.
Afterall Val was paired with Rumer (who had been a friend of Janel’s). I wonder sometimes if the celebrities pick their pro as a part of their negotiations.

Will Friedle (revealed earlier this year he has been suffering from anxiety issues including stage fright and has only recently been able to work up the nerve to get back in front of the camera but if he were to be convinced to do the show potentially overcoming his struggles before our eyes may be one of the most inspiring journeys any contestant has had yet)
Tara Strong, Grey DeLise, or Jodie Benson (they are voice actors who have portrayed countless classic and current animated characters-Benson is the voice of Ariel from The Little Mermaid; I think that could be especially fun for Disney night-and I think they could be fun and quirky additions to the cast)
“Weird Al” Yankovic (idk how great a dancer he’d be but it’d be fun to see him on the show)
Jodie Sweetin (or another 80’s/90’s sitcom star, though I love her and she seems to really want to do it)
Hank Green (social media star who would probably be able to engage their fanbase while on the show better than the ones who have been on so far and would likely appeal to some of the main demographic too)
Evanna Lynch (from Europe so she’d be more likely to do Strictly but I can see her being a good match for several current and potential pros on DWTS)
Alexis Bledel (the person who I thought they were talking about when they announced Alexa PenaVega-oops)
Nat Wolff (formerly on Nickelodeon and currently appearing in teen movies who’d appeal to younger viewers)
Kevin McHale or Jenna Ushkowitz (did well whenever they danced on Glee)
A female veteran (we’ve had several military men who’ve done well, so why not mix it up and throw a woman who has served into the mix?)
Ashley Tisdale, Bridget Mendler or Emily Osment (former Disney stars who are currently involved with some ABC Family shows)
Hilary Duff (similar to above but I think she’s on a non-ABC show at the moment)
Tia and/or Tamara and/or Tajh Mowry (could be a fun family rivalry and Tamara is one of Tamar’s The Real co-hosts and seemed to enjoy cheering her on in the audience this season)
Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, and/or Ally Sheedy (possible fun former Brat Pack star rivalry and Demi seemed to love watching Rumer on the show last season)

@Julia ALL OF THE YES TO KEVIN MCHALE. I was just about to mention him. You guys have no idea of how much I love this guy. I think he’d be perfect for the show: he’s fun and lighthearted (he’s friends with pretty much all of his former castmates — in fact I think he was one of Amber’s most vocal supporters during her season), very humble, has a good head on his shoulders, and has immense talent and great musicality. IMO he’d be perfect for Sharna (though it would be pretty amusing to pair her up with a former boy bander after her stint with Nick); if not her, my second option would be Emma. The one thing that could hinder that would be the fact that he’s set to film the fourth season of his UK panel show Virtually Famous next month, but hopefully the entire season will be taped before March, which could give him enough time to come back and do DWTS (just like how Nick was filming Dead 7 when he was first announced).
And @Cari, yes to Ming-Na too. I feel she has a lot of ringer potential, what with being a martial artist, having nostalgic appeal, and being on a show that’s part of the hugely successful Marvel Cinematic Universe. I can easily see her being paired with Val or Artem.
I have to second the bachelor guy. I usually hate those people (Melissa I liked though) but the commerical where the girl comes out with the flower on her head and his reaction is priceless. He actually seems dare I say normal and that’s kinda rare for that show.
A few other celebrities I’d like to see too:
Sofia Carson — She played the Evil Queen’s daughter on Disney Channel’s Descendants, which proved to be a massive hit, and the folks at Disney Channel seem to be trying to make her and the two girls from Girl Meets World into their next big stars.
Guy Fieri — We had Paula Deen, why not him? I don’t know much about him (since here in Brazil we don’t have the Food Network), but he seems like a fun guy. I can easily see him as a comic relief contestant in the likes of Tommy Chong and Gary Busey.
A Power Rangers alumni — ExerciseFan up there brought up Yoshi and while he’s a fan favorite among the PR fandom, I think TPTB would rather go for someone from the first few seasons, like Amy Jo Johnson. Personally I’d go for either Walter Jones (MMPR’s first Black Ranger) or Archie Kao (Lost Galaxy’s Blue Ranger).
Chris & Martin Kratt — How many of you remember watching Zooboomafoo? Given how successful Bindi ended up being, I wouldn’t be surprised if TPTB got them on next season (since their claim to fame also involves wild animals), as some kind of sibling rivalry.
@Shawn I totally agree with priyanka Chopra (great way to further her career in Hollywood), cassadee pope, Tyler hoechlin (I miss him gracing my screen on Mondays), and Lindsey sterling (who has also performed on the show. christina grimmie could also be added to that list, another voice alum.
@Bia If Kevin does do the show one thing I think would work in his favor is that I can see him paired with any of the female pros they have. Sharna, Karina, Peta, Lindsay, Emma…all of them would be a great partner for him, and this could come in handy in the competition in eneral and also if ther eis a switch-up week.
Also YES CHRIS AND MARTIN KRATT! I forgot to mention them but they’d be great. I’d love a sibling rivalry between celbs, since we’ve had a couple pro ones already, hence why I mentioned the Mowry siblings.
I remember the kratts lol talk about a blast from the past. I remember watching zaboomafoo and wishbone at 9 and 930 on Saturday mornings. Never missed that. I didn’t know who priyanka chopra was at first but then I looked her up and it hit me: Alex parish on quantico. For some reason it never hit me until now but I though she was the director with the son all this time and all I kept thinking was “why is the lead not getting the attention?”. I feel stupid lol.
I don’t think priyanka chopra will be available while on the air quantico films in Montreal and is more physically demanding show that takes 2-3 weeks to film an episode so by december 17th they r wrapping episode 13 meaning by the time the cast is announced their will only be 16-17 out of 22 filmed hard to fly 5 hours lose 2 days of shooting fit time in for dwts rehearsals and still spend long days on set so I would rule her out for anytime soon as much as I would want her on the show.
OMG I had big crush on Chris Kratt when I was younger. The Kratt brothers would be awesome! I’d be much more about that than a married couple.
Also, yes to Weird Al – can’t believe he hasn’t been on either.

Sofia Vergara could very well do S22 as there have been rumblings of this possibly being Modern Familys last season so if they offered her enough maybe she’d do it..

He’s on the same abc show that Chelsea Kane is on (she danced with Mark). He has a great personality, he can sing and dance. I think he’d be a mix of Alfonso and Corbin. One of his sisters would be cool too. Kylie Minogue, Raven Simone, I’d love to see a surfer on the show, like Anastasia Ashley, Tatiana Weston-Webb, Sage Erickson or Kelly Slater. There were rumors of Bethany Hamilton doing the show last season, that’d be interesting, John Stamos, Mia Hamm, Kelly Kelly from the WWE, Jamie Foxx, Antonio Banderas would be AMAZING.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. (another celebrity that was strongly rumored to appear. They’ve never had a Kennedy on the show. It’s time for a political celebrity in this upcoming presidential election year).
Any Major League Baseball (MLB) player who isn’t in the league anymore. (Why haven’t they ever had any kind of professional baseball player?)
Any professional or former Olympic fencer (they have the prefect training and background for dance!).
Any former FIFA or Major Soccer League (MSL) player (again no one has been represented yet on DWTS. They’d be great with their footwork).
Anthony Sadler (0ne of the international heroes, he would be a radical departure from Alek dance-wise. I could see Anthony being very promising in the Latin dances.)
Theresa Vail – She was Miss Kansas in the Miss America Pageant (in 2013) and best known for her visible tattoos. As Miss Kansas she performed in the talent portion in the national pageant singing an operatic aria, something she had never done before and learned the opera vocal techniques on YouTube. Theresa will also be the first female veteran on the show and the second to serve in the National Guard.

@Michelle, we probably read the same speculative articles about Rashad Jennings interest in DWTS. Snap judgement says the show could do much better and/or just get the guy who helps his team win the Super Bowl like Jacoby Jones. Jennings teammate Odell Beckham has more personality and buzz anyway. Tebow would certainly draw some eyeballs, I’d just be worried that he’d be a male version of Bristol or Sadie…or a bulkier and more religious Alek.

Seeing that this show has signed people who had done ballroom before (hello Riker) and people who danced for their living (hello Meryl), I guess I shouldn’t be salty if Laura Bell Bundy does DWTS. She’s a massive ringer but no doubt in my mind she’ll be stellar. Or, you know, her ringer status will be virtually nonexistent if she’s partnered with Val.
I don’t watch Criminal Minds and NCIS very often but those are definitely my favourite US-based show about police-procedural out there, so I won’t mind seeing the ladies from both shows like Pauley Perrette or the actress who played Bishop, or maybe even Cote de Pablo.
Cat Deely would be an absolute yes for me. Cat for the win!

Would love Kristin Chenoweth with Sasha. That would be a fun pairing. I know this may not be realistic, but I would love to see Clay Matthews from the Green Bay Packers do it. I think he’d have a good personality for the show. A random one who I’m not sure would do it would be Brooklyn Beckham. Not sure if I’d like him or not, but just think he’d be interesting. I think it was Laura that suggested it … but great idea in Brooklyn Beckham. Fits that Bindi model of breaking out on your own in the world and perfect for the producers with the Posh or David factor in the audience.
Also agree that we will be holding off on the Olympians until season 23, will be a very quick turnaround though.
