DWTS Allison Holker’s Shares Her Plan On Giving Birth, There Could Be Dancing
Allison Holker is Fit Pregnancy’s cover girl and featured artist this month. In a new interview, she shares her plan for giving birth to her second child, a son, next month. Holker, who found early fame in High School Musical and its sequel, does have a plan that’s perhaps unique to being a performer. She wants to enter the hospital in heels and makeup. “That’s just who I am. Nobody but my husband and my daughter sees me without my eyebrows painted on,” she adds. (As for the heels she donned for our photo shoot, her balancing skills explain why she’s a dance pro.)
When asked about the vibe in the delivery room, Holker says she’ll most likely want Boss to have an energizing hip-hop mix on hand, including songs by Jay Z and Drake. “I can’t be sleeping when I go into labor,” she says. “Who knows? It could turn into a dance party. There may be twerking!” Meanwhile, Stephen just hopes he doesn’t pass out. “He’s nervous about a lot of it, because it’s all new to him, but I know he’s going to be an amazing dad,” says Holker. “Without a doubt, he and this baby will have a special connection—I know it.”
I hope Allison has happy and easy birth experience and that Baby Boss is healthy.
Funny but I thought Allison was kind of down to earth in her DWTS packages. (Other than her problems with tailoring her routines to her celeb’s abilities.) I hadn’t seen her as diva-ish about her appearance. Especially working for DWTS where they have cameras rolling all the time. But I guess it IS really hard to be expecting and know that you might be photographed at ANY time, even possibly arriving at the hospital to give birth. But she seems to be in very good health and spirits. Best wishes to the Boss family and joy with a new member!
