Gee ticket sales must be slow. Sorry…not spending $600 on an Ultimate Front Row VIP experience for this. Nobody that I am interested in paying that much money to see is going. I’ll save my $$ for MLOT 17! Paying $500 for front row seats guaranteed and getting that close to Derek WAS worth it to me. Seems like for this DWTS tour, you get whomever…no guarantee of being able to meet a certain pro..so I’ll pass. I went to the winter tour in 2015. It was ok
The price is crazy. Just to put this into perspective: last time I went to a wwe taping, the price for a good ticket and the VIP\meet and greet was 250 all together (the meet and greet being 100).
Hit submit too early. And if you wanted to get a cheaper seat that was way cheaper in total. I’m just struggling to understand who creates the price points for that. Love the show but I wouldn’t spend that much to meet some of my favs.
I went to the one with Alfonso Rivera-it was good-not spectacular. And Mark was on tour during that one and he surpassed them all-that was before Jenna joined the crew (Barf!!) And no way was I gonna pay extra money for a meet and greet-the tix were enough. I never went to see Derek and Julianne but if they do another tour of their show, I’d luv to catch it this time for sure!!
I went to the last tour and loved it. If this tour was closer, I would go again. I’d love to meet Gleb and Sharna. Though if I had paid that much for a VIP ticket and they weren’t doing the VP, I would have cried.
If I wanted to meet the pros I’d just wait outside the stage door after the show rather than buying VIP. They probably spend more time talking to the fans and taking pictures with them outside than they do in the VIP area. But they keep hiking up VIP prices so obviously people keep buying them. Can’t blame them for that, it’s smart business sense.
@vogue: that’s my issue with the VIP meet and greets. Sometimes they all are there sometimes it’s like three or four people. The three times I’ve done meet and greet it’s always been different (first time it was just four at the wwe taping, second time it was all of them but the lines were huge for some and less for others at the second wwe thing, and third time it was all of il volo but they only stayed out there for a half hour but in all fairness did have autographed pics ready to go for the rest)….would have said fourth but the new kids on the block do their meet and greet for free and the crowd was crazy so I was like “not enough patience in the world” and left lol. i would hope all the dwts people would be at the meet and greet though since they all seem to love interacting with fans.
I would hope the pros would be engaging too. And I wouldn’t have the patience either if the crowd was crazy. I’ve only been to Julianne and Derek’s Meet and Greets. They are intimate and engaging with each fan. I also have loved how organized they are too and the fans are always really sweet.
If people are paying big money for Meet and Greets ALL THE PROS damn well better be there and EVERY night. Jesus, that’s the point. What if you’re a Val fan and spend $500 bucks and he decides it’s his night off?
