Bonner Bolton Ready To ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie’ On Dancing With The Stars

The Star Telegram has a cool article published on Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess. Sharna remarks how competitive and incredibly talented her new partner is. Bonner says he’s “ready” to do a little ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie’.

“I wanted to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ because it’s the first competition opportunity I’ve had in over a year now,” says Bolton, who lives in the Dallas area. “When they gave me the opportunity and said, ‘Would you like to do this?’, I jumped right on.

“I said, ‘Heck, yeah. I’m ready.’ ”

The two-hour season premiere begins at 7 p.m. Monday on ABC. The Season 24 opener is the milestone 400th episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”

The eclectic collection of 12 celebrity dancers ranges from world-class athletes to “Where Are They Now?”-type showbiz personalities. Each has a compelling personal reason to compete, but Bolton’s story is likely to make him a sentimental fan favorite.

Sharna Burgess, Bolton’s dance partner, has certainly been impressed.

“He is highly competitive, incredibly determined,” she says. “He is going to have some dance moves.”

“I’m pretty flexible, especially for a guy who broke his neck a year ago,” Bolton says.

His experience on the dance floor pretty much begins and ends with honky-tonking.

“I can do a little ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie,’ ” he boasts.

Mr. T: “This Dancing is really making Me Sweat off the Lbs”

This is so cool. Mr. T has already lost 12 pounds training for Dancing With The Stars. From People….

Mr. T is ready to dance, fool!

The actor and soon-to-be Dancing with the Stars contestant is training hard with partner Kym Johnson — so hard, in fact, that he’s already lost 12 lbs.

“This Dancing is really making Me Sweat off the Lbs.,” Mr. T, 64, tweeted. “I’ve already lost 12! I am Lean, Mean and 219. I am Agile, Mobile and Hostile. Grrr!”

Even though the former wrestler has plenty of experience performing on stage, he admits that he’s feeling nervous ahead of the first show on March 20, particularly because he’ll be the oldest contestant to hit the dance floor this season.

“Now I must be Honest with you. I’ll be Lying if I said, ‘I Don’t Have Butterflies.’ Well I Do!” he added.

Erika Jayne Interviewed On Her Intense Preparation For Dancing With The Stars

Bravo TV has an exclusive interview with Erika Jayne talking about her rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars. They’ve been “intense”, but, she’s excited. See the fun interview HERE.

And when asked how many hours she’s putting into the dance competition show, she said, “You put in about four to five. That’s rehearsals. And it’s intense, because it’s just the two of you. So it’s private, and you’re choroegraphing the number and setting it, so it’s a lot. And then to learn these dances that I’ve never done. They’re very intense.”

Four to five hours a day?! Erika’s putting Eden Sassoon’s pilates sessions to shame.

Heather Morris And Maks Chmerkovskiy DWTS Season 24 Rehearsal Photos, Comments On The Competition

If you go to E Online, you can see some beautiful shots of Heather Morris and Maks Chmerkovskiy rehearsing for their debut on Dancing With the Stars. Below is some comments from them too.

But even with her impressive dance experience, Heather admitted to E! News, “I’m nervous about the live audience…I’m just not totally used to it.”

As for Maks, he was quick to sound off on the couple possible having an advantage in the competition, with the new dad saying, “To say that we just have this massive advantage, I think so, but I don’t think we’re the only ones that could pull off beautiful, beautiful numbers. I’m ready for us to be scrutinized a little different and judged a little different and rightfully so, we’ll do our best.”

ETA: Maks also talked with Entertainment Tonight about Peta. More at the link and on ET on TV Wednesday!

As fans of the couple know, the two welcomed their first child, son Shai, in January. Since then, Murgatroyd hasn’t been shy about documenting her journey to shedding the baby weight via social media, and will be taking the stage with Bachelor star Nick Viall when the new season premieres on ABC on Monday, March 20. Yes, just two months after giving birth, the blond beauty is back to work!

“It’s insane, it’s insane,” Chmerkovskiy told ET’s Cameron Mathison. “I’m not a good enough spokesperson to explain this, this process, but it’s — my hats off [to her] is an understatement.”

“It’s fun! We get to dance for a living, it’s amazing,” he continued. “But Peta has a much harder job than I do. Because she’s a mom. What women go through with pregnancy — [is crazy].”

Luckily, they have a wonderful nanny who takes care of Shai while the two are busy performing and in rehearsals.

“She knows what she’s doing, and yeah, no, we trust her,” the father of one joked. “But it’s amazing. I met her kids. It’s just something that I can’t wait for ours to be [13 months, like Heather’s] youngest age. He just walks around doing his things, pulling on some plants, keeps hitting his head everywhere, just smiles through it.”

Charo’s Dream For Dancing With The Stars Season 24 – New Interview

Charo is excited to dance on Dancing With The Stars Season 24. She just hopes she makes it far. See why below. From the New York Post….

That’s all well and good, but she says it’s the jitterbug that’s giving her fits — if she even makes it far enough into the “DWTS” season (with dance partner Keo Motsepe) when that dance is traditionally featured. “It’s my nightmare,” she says. “How is this woman who dances Flamenco and plays the guitar, how is she going to do the jitterbug? I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I pray the audience will feel sorry for me. The jitterbug is gonna be the end of ‘Cuchi Cuchi,’ but I’m going to try.

“One of my dreams is that if we make it to dancing the Vienna Waltz, I want to wear a dress like Cinderella wore. It moves like water. If I make it I hope they allow me to wear the Cinderella dress.”

The self-deprecating entertainer also took some playful jabs at “DWTS” judge Bruno Tonioli, a native of Ferrara, Italy. “I have a problem with Bruno. His English sucks,” she says. “It’s worse than mine. When I talk English, compared to him I am Shakespeare. The guy talks fast and speaks with a heavy accent.

“When I am dancing the Flamenco, if Bruno says that I suck, the s–t is gonna hit the fan,” she says. “I will take all the crap, even if I suck at every dance — but do not touch my Flamenco dancing. When my mom was breastfeeding me, at the same time I was listening to Flamenco. That is me.”

She’s so fun! I hope her dream for Dancing With The Stars comes true. Lots more at the New York Post.
