PureDWTS Season 24 Week 2: Pre and Post Show Media, Interviews, Scores, And More

What another super night of dancing on Dancing With The Stars. They are all so good in different ways. Though I’m sad when we have to see someone eliminated. One thing is for sure, I’m a new fan of Chris Kattan. He was so funny and I love how he just had a blast. I’ll never forget his story too. What an inspiration to the world. To relive his dance and all the others, see Idolxfactor.com (this link works for International viewers too) or the Official You Tube site.

Now for some media. First, see People for all of their new interviews after the show. FOX11 talked with some of the contestants as well. Below Nancy explains what happened in rehearsals this past week versus what we saw in their package and more….

After the show, Kerrigan told FOX411 that the rehearsal moment was overblown, saying, “That was like five minutes of the whole week! We’re truly having a ton of fun…most of the time, we’re just laughing.

“Sometimes it’s rough and frustrating in practice — but we were there for like four or five hours.”

When asked if she’s tired of being always known for the Harding-related incident, married mom of three Kerrigan shrugged to FOX411, “I mean, I guess it was part of my life but yeah, things have moved on way beyond that. I’m having a great time here.”

Kerrigan told reporters she’s had no further problems from the knee that notoriously got hit–but she did admit to having “spine issues, so that’s sort of annoying. I need surgery on my spine when I’m done with this [show].

“Actually, when I got asked [to do “DWTS], I was in the neurosurgeon’s office…but I just wanted to be here. During the little breaks, it’s a lot of stretching and stuff to make sure I’m standing up straight.”

The famed ice skater hopes to “become more confident, not be so nervous” by doing “DWTS.”

More at FOX11. FOX11 also has a great interview with Peta HERE. I love how her and Maks aren’t waiting any longer to get married.

ABC7 (This isn’t just a recap. There are some fun interviews with George this time):

Here is Henry after the show with some of the cast. He’s such a cutie and Tom thinks he should fill in for him. Great interview with Sasha and Emma too:

E News:

I love what Gleb says on Elena and the new baby…

Charo’s not happy or with Mr. T’s scores either….

Peta chats on Maks’ injury a little in this interview and how he will be flying to Ohio soon.

Facebook with some “behind the scenes” coverage:

To watch some recaps and interviews with Entertainment tonight, I’m going to refer you to the link since the embeds go on auto play making the post too noisy.

Ok, that is all for now, Dancettes. Keep checking back as we update this post during the day with more interviews and thanks for reading. ~Vogue

ETA: Glamour talked with the cast last night. They also posted some photos. See their coverage at this link. I like what Heather said about Amber Riley in this take….

Heather revealed that she sought advice from fellow Glee co-star, Amber Riley, who won DWTS with partner Derek Hough in season 17. “She was like, ‘Just be yourself, have fun with it, and really enjoy it.'” Still, the experience is as hard as she anticipated. “I expected it to be a lot. I was very aware that it was going to be a lot, and a lot of things are going fun. And it is. It’s a lot of things, and it’s a lot is going on. But it’s actually such a cool experience.” (Somewhere, Britney S. Pierce is smiling.)

But before we move on to the next couple, what’s up with Maks and his calf injury? “We’re playing it by ear,” Alan relayed. “He’s on a flight to get treatment as we speak.”

ETA2: More E Online interviews….
